Piano, composition, improvisation and music theory lessons

I give lessons or music theory support in Basel and its surroundings. All ages and all levels. I like to share my passion in a relaxed atmosphere! I am an oboe, a professional musician and graduated from the Lausanne University of Music in pedagogy.

For anyone who wants to learn the violin or perfect their skills. Extensive experience with private students and music schools in Austria. There is an option to give lessons at home, online or if I am with the student I charge extra. If necessary, I will provide the teaching materials. Lessons in German, English or Spanish.

I a professional musician and have taught piano to children for three years at the Pico Music School in Lucerne. We will learn at the piano how to play and how to read and hear music. It is important to me that the children learn good practice skills and that they have fun in the lessons and at home.

I am a music pedagogy graduated teacher (master of performance and master of pedagogy in Paris and Basel). Love sharing my passion with others : have a 10 years experience in 2 music schools and high schools in Paris. Am also performing concerts as a pianist and organist. I offer lessons in Classical music theory at all levels - Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced. Trained in Classical and Early music, and having studied performance in harpsichord, organ, piano, classical and electric guitar, I've also studied chamber music composition and electroacoustic composition. A passionate learner myself, I have recently graduated with a Masters from the Hochschule für Musik Basel in Specialized Performance (Improvisation). These diverse experiences are necessarily integrated into what I teach and how. In my theory classes we’ll look at the fundamentals of rhythm, pitch, solfège, intervals, key signatures, cadences, and other important groundwork whose rigorous study we can then apply to real-life examples of music, helping you acquire a sharper analytical ear. In my career, my life is frozen, my Lust, my Motivation, and my Ratschläge, my life is erroneous. Even though the settings are individual and personal, the programs are different. Since I have been teaching violin and music, not a day has gone by without me saying to myself that motivation and pleasure are the greatest drivers of learning. This is why I always favor a relaxed and work-friendly atmosphere during my classes. Technique is of course of great importance to me. I teach musical initiation, music theory and the viola which I practiced in chamber music and of course the violin, my main instrument with which I perform in several orchestras and ensembles.
