I'm a 3-year Linguistic student, I've achieved the C1+ levels in English, on the CEFR scale. I have 2 years of experience living in London, where I acquired RP (received pronunciation) and 3 years of experience in the International Academia (Amsterdam). My linguistic background gives me the capacity to explain the sounds and various processes of the language, from a perspective many natives do not know. In teaching, I practice the holistic approach. It is my belief that language is for people of every age and education, but I'm aware that everyone deserves a personal approach. That's why I offer the first meeting unpaid, so we can get acquainted and discuss the expectations of both sides. In classes, I will try to raise your confidence and knowledge in English, on 4 levels of proficiency: Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing. I have worked as a teacher for over 5 years and during that time I have gained experience teaching to students as young as 4 years old, as well as adults. Awni is a wonderful instructor! He is very patient, will answer any question you can think of, and can have a laugh with you during lessons as well! His lessons are very helpful and structured, he is willing to go at your pace and repeat or go over things as many times as needed. It is very evident he is professional and has more than enough education and knowledge to teach the language very thoroughly!! I would highly recommend to take him as a teacher!
