I am a professional singer with more than 10 years of vocal training and performance experience. I will help you to explore and develop your own voice and give you proper knowledge of your instrument. I am in love with music since my childhood and started learning the piano and violin at the age of 7. Since singing has always been my main passion, I started taking classical singing lessons at the age of 12 and contemporary singing a few years later. After finishing my high school education, I decided to move to London to get a wider perspective, where I started writing and realising my own songs and where I got to play in many venues such as The O2 Islington, 229 Venue, the Blues Kitchen among others with my full band. I also participated in some singing contests, such as Britain Does Variety and Open Mic UK, becoming a Grand Finalist on both shows. All this allowed me to earn stage presence, experience and to improve my skills as a songwriter, performer, bandleader and music arranger. In 2016, I started my education at BIMM, where I graduated from a BETC Diploma on Popular Music Performance (Vocals) and a BMus (Hons) Degree on Popular Music Performance (Vocals). My passion for music and psychology led me to do my final degree dissertation on the link between creativity and mental health, which opened my curiosity about music and vocal therapy, A subject I have been exploring and I like to apply on my lessons. I've been teaching contemporary singing since 2016. I'm passionate about taking care of my students' vocal health. Applying mindfulness and music therapy techniques, as well as contemporary techniques such as The Speech Level Technique, Brett Manning's Singing Success Technique or The complete Vocal Technique that allows me to give them all necessary insight into healthy singing techniques and body and mind awareness. I normally emphasise good technique, interpretation skills and improvisation to give you the tools to find your own sound. In lessons, we will focus on learning and mastering the songs you are interested in and I will plan the lessons according to the needs of each student. I like encouraging students to explore different contemporary genres such as pop, rock, R&B, soul, but also different styles such as jazz, world or classical music. I also offer music theory lessons for the same price, if you are interested in improving your musicianship. I am happy to incorporate a bit of theory (or as much as you like!) in the singing lesson plan.

Clément - Lausanne79€
Trusted teacher: Hello, My name is Clément, I am a professional musician and drum and percussion teacher. I am a graduate of the Haute Ecole des Arts du Rhin in Strasbourg and holder of the State Diploma, I am currently continuing my journey at the Haute Ecole de Musique de Lausanne in Master Performer Composer Jazz. During my career, I had the opportunity to play in several contexts (solo, chamber music band, orchestra) and to be able to immerse myself in different musical aesthetics. (classical, jazz, current, world) This taste for diversity, which is part of my personality, is partly what I want to pass on to my students. Another important axis in my eyes in learning an artistic practice is based on the concept of creation, which allows the development of the imagination. For the drums, in line with your wishes and the objectives that we will have put in place, we can explore the different styles. (rock, funk, jazz, latin, metal..) For example, here are some concepts that we will work on: - coordination and independence - develop their musicality and groove - technique and sound - rhythm and reading on score We can also approach classical percussions (keyboards, skins...) and world percussions (Brazilian, Cuban and African). We will of course work on the technique specific to each instrument, some notions of musical theory necessary for a good practice, the whole aiming at musicality and expression. Another challenge is to acquire autonomy and regularity in the practice of the instrument outside of class. I also offer music theory and theory lessons, as well as improvisation and jazz harmony lessons open to all instruments. The courses I offer are aimed at both children and adults. For more information, do not hesitate to contact me, I will be happy to answer you. I hope to have the opportunity to meet you and introduce you to this beautiful universe so that you can have fun while progressing.

Florent - Lausanne79€
Trusted teacher: I give drum lessons instead of Vallon 12, in my studio, equipped with 2 drums and recording equipment. I consider that learning can only be done while having fun, so I adapt almost all my lessons to the desires of my students, while keeping a course of action to follow, based on methods that have been developed. proven to be very effective over the years. I teach any style of music making sure the basics are solid. (Rock, Funk, Groove, Jazz, Samba, Latin, Metal, Fusion, ...) It is important for me that the student tells me about his desires, his tastes, and to know what the student has desire to learn. Of course, I can come up with tons of songs, but it is always more interesting for the student to bring me what they want to learn. My local is a recording studio. This means that I record and film sessions with students from time to time. It is very rewarding to see / hear yourself play, even very early in learning, and this service is an integral part of the lessons and is something quite rare in drum lessons in the region. I enjoy a familiar atmosphere, without pressure, to focus on the essentials in a relaxed way :-) About the teacher: Studied drums at the Sleack Kaven School in Lausanne. Drummer in many Swiss and international groups, specializing in extreme, technical and progressive metal, as well as electro-groove. Great experience of concerts all over Europe, as well as various recording studios, as well as recording in my personal studio. Drums teacher since 2016 at the ENSR in Lausanne. Drums teacher between 2018-2020 at GimmeMusic School, in Etoy. Private drums teacher since 2017.

I offer you a fun approach that focuses on the pleasure of playing. Having followed training and courses throughout my life (conservatory, schools ...), I am passionate and dedicated to sharing all of my experience with you. I practice in many music groups and other structures (schools, associations ...). With more than 20 years of experience in drums and more than 10 years in percussion, I teach many musical genres (jazz through Latin music, pop, hip hop, rock, hard, punk, metal ..) , the double pedal, notions of music theory, rhythmic reading. Possibility of taking percussion lessons (darbuka, bongos, African djembe, congas, jaw harp, dhol). The programs are directly inspired by internationally recognized methods, thus being able to adapt to the needs, levels and requirements of each individual. A different approach to music lessons: My teaching is resolutely modern. Classes are a moment of musical and human sharing where error is used as a positive experience to move forward. We work by oral transmission to complete the scores. We use onomatopoeia to quickly develop musical and felt play, rather than just reading and playing. So ... Tempted? Trusted teacher: I've been a drummer for almost 20 years now, and I've graduated from both Brussels Royal Conservatory of Music (classical percussion) and Mons Royal Conservatory of Music (pedagogy). I've been teaching percussion, the drums and music theory for a little more than 4 years now. My students are always the real actors of my courses. No matter what instrument you are learning, be it percussion, the drums, marimba, vibraphone, or music theory, I always pay close attention to your personal goals, and together we devise a unique learning plan that adapts to your strengths as well as your weaknesses. My courses are aimed at anyone who is willing to put effort into learning music; children or adults, complete beginners or more advanced players who wish to receive additional feedback and insight. Autonomy, creativity, curiosity and listening skills are the true pillars of my methodology. We pay as much attention to technique as to musicality or listening skills. Additionally, I provide tailored exercises, on-demand sheet music and transcriptions according to your needs, as well as additional resources and recommendations on my website to nourish your musical life and journey. I teach the following: -the drums, in various styles (rock, funk, jazz, shuffle, pop, world music, latin music, on-demand songs) and forms (Moeller technique, speed, rudiments, syncopation, breaks, solo, independence, musicality, double pedal, push-pull, etc.); -percussion (2 or 4-mallet marimba and vibraphone, xylophone, timpani, cajón, hand percussion), in both contemporary and classical music styles; -music theory, which can and will easily be integrated into my drumming or percussion courses, or can be taught as a separate course for music students who are seeking remedial education; -harmony; -sight reading techniques; -perfect and relative pitch (experimental)

Florent's teaching method is the best I've ever encountered! He's awesome! ! I started playing drums four years ago. Before him, I was walking in a dead-end street. And improvisation is impossible for me. But he comes, I see the light!! He is energetic and very friendly. Learning with him is extremely efficient. I'm so lucky to meet him on apprentus!
