Trusted teacher: What I offer: A Level: Biology GCSE: Maths, English, Science KS3: Maths, English, Science 11+: Maths, English, Verbal Reasoning, Non-Verbal Reasoning KS2: Maths, English, Science KS1: Maths, English, Science I am a qualified teacher (DBS checked) and have over 4000 hours of tutoring experience, with students ranging from 4-18 years old. On top of that, I also helped my brother gain entry into Cambridge University for Economics and have seen countless other students succeed under my mentorship. This is because I recognise that there is a process and that if students follow that process, they are guaranteed to succeed. I try my best to make learning enjoyable for students but I also have high expectations as I believe every student has it in them to achieve the top grades. I provide homework for each and every lesson. If students struggle with it, they come to me the following lesson and we go through the mistakes. I teach them the techniques to combat their weaknesses and this ensures they are ironed out, guaranteeing improvement. Students can also bring me work they are struggling with independently. All the students that have come to me have improved and rapidly. Testimonials: 'He helped my daughter get into Forest School. The homework and regular advice really made all the difference. We cannot thank him enough.' - Mr. Atwal 'Starting with him was the best decision I made for my son's education. He did so much better in his GCSEs than we expected. He was on track for Ds and Es and managed to get nearly all A*-B! Imagine what Umar could've achieved if we'd found him earlier!' - Mrs. Ahmed 'Vinay helped me so much with A Level Biology. I got an A (very nearly an A*) and am now studying Dentistry at university.' - Raman

Life is too short to be lived in misery, or with regret, or having not found fulfilment in our unique individual purpose in this world. We came here to sing our own unique song, to taste in its fullness the wonder and beauty of this mysterious and miraculous place. This is our birthright, and we should be uncompromising in reclaiming it. If you feel that there's more to life, if you feel that there's something missing, or you're feeling stuck in some way, our meditation sessions can help elevate, give clarity and move you forward. MY APPROACH: *My sessions are for ALL levels and ALL ages (assessed on a case-by-case basis), I will meet you where you're at. *All sessions are tailored around your needs. When working with me, you have my full energy and attention. I'm here for the sole purpose of assisting you. *Heart-led approach: as a space holder I'm here to receive you in a completely non-judgemental and compassionate way. It's my job to make you feel safe and I will be there to guide you through anything you want to explore in these sessions. ~ Meditation is the Root, but there are many branches that may be required for an individual's development. This is why I like to incorporate various modalities (as needed) such as: *qigong *breathwork/pranayama/kriyas *somatic movement/dance *strength conditioning *sound healing *plus advisories regarding nutrition, lifestyle, and more... The core of my approach is that which has been taught by all ancient traditions: the path of Self-Awareness. Through self-awareness we can restore a sense of Wholeness. Before we can feel safe, stable and not be in a reactionary state, we must clear and re-balance the mind. Then we are in a position to gain new insights and open up to new possibilities. The biggest problem in today’s world is FOCUS. Most of us are on autopilot 95% of the time (this is proven by the latest neuroscience). We must develop our concentration by having a meditation practice and being mindful during our day. Everything begins with Stillness. Once we're established in this stillness, we are able to find more flow, we transform confusion into clarity, and suffering into love. We’re able to let go of what is holding us back from living a life of fulfilment, purpose, joy, creativity and prosperity. Once we realise in a tangible way that all things arise from this place of stillness, we are able to take responsibility and ownership of our lives. WHAT TO EXPECT: A central part of my practice is sharing, discussion, reflection. Sessions are usually oriented around a certain topic of discussion/sharing, where you would bring a specific question, topic or issue to explore further. We may start (or end) with a tea (with optional assistive herbs), and see where it takes us. Using meditation/discussion as a starting point, intuitively I will guide the session to where I feel it needs to go - such as into a sound bath, further meditation or perhaps we need to do some energetics to move stagnant energies. Sometimes it works the other way around, we can start with a meditation, that may or may not have a specific focus, and from there the session will unfold potentially into points of sharing/discussion. Everyone is different, every day is different ~ so we just go with the flow of what the present moment asks of us. WORKING WITH ME ON A DEEPER LEVEL: I have limited spaces for working more closely 1:1 - for those looking for a deep recalibration and transformation. The extent of this offering is a full blueprint that comes from my life’s work of spiritual training and study and holistic life design. Sharing with you my philosophy and principles, and many years of experience - for the right people I am available for this level of mentorship. I do not subscribe to a specific religion, but I'm so very grateful to be able to draw upon the timeless wisdom of such venerated traditions: Various ancient lineages of Yoga Advaita Vedanta Buddhism (Zen, Theravada, etc.) Taoism (Water Method) Sufism Mystic Christian tradition ... and many more. Wishing you total fulfilment and prosperity in this life, Vincent

Trusted teacher: My Psychology degree and 9 years of experience working with children with Neuro-divergence and additional educational needs prior to teaching have significantly shaped my approach to teaching. I prioritise relationship building and trust with students and their caregivers. I am patient, kind, and incredibly encouraging but have high expectations. I work with students for them to also gain high expectations in themselves. This may happen in the first few sessions or may take a longer period of time depending on the student. I help students gain high expectations for themselves by initially giving tasks where they are guaranteed success, then celebrating and reflecting on this success and how they were able to use the skills taught and their effort to complete the task. This builds a persons confidence and significantly increases the likelihood of attempting more difficult tasks. This is heavily proven by research (and seen in my classroom daily) known as the “theory of self efficacy” and the “theory of planned behaviour”. If a person does not believe a task is within their capability, they are incredibly unlikely to even attempt it (No matter how much we believe they can do it). It is my job to SHOW students they can do it by designing tasks and lessons in a way that they feel challenged finish with pride in their achievements. When teaching new skills I will show them first, then we will complete a task together, then they will apply the skills independently. I will be constantly assessing as they work independently and provide support where necessary. The ultimate goal is to phase back my support until they are using the taught skills correctly, consistently, confidently and independently. Lessons will vary depending on students needs. If caregivers want to spend a percentage of the lesson to discuss, that will be agreed upon. If there are specific targets you want me to cover then we can dedicate time for you to tell me these expectations. If you would prefer me to assess your student and gage where the gaps are and plan accordingly, that is also ok. I would suggest an initial session to meet, and discuss goals. Some classes you may benefit from: -SATs Prep -Phonics -Reading (comprehension, vocabulary, inferencing, predictions, explaining, retrieval, sequencing, summarising, making links, authors intent) -Spelling -Grammar (or Spelling and grammar combined) -Maths -Maths (arithmetic) -Maths (Reasoning and Problem solving) -Target specific - has your teacher said there are targets you need to work on in various subjects? -Science -History -Geography -Psychology (GCSE, A Level) Is your child in secondary school but needs support in the foundation subjects such as reading, writing or maths? Reading and writing is an essential skills in secondary school for every subject. I can support your child to close the gap so they can access all subjects with their peers. Having worked in secondary schools before, I have seen how much students are required to read and write in all lessons, but there will not be opportunities to learn these fundamental skills at school. I welcome students of all ages (including adults) from all backgrounds and of all abilities. I look forward to meeting you soon and celebrating the amazing progress ahead!

great experience! we only had couple of hours of conversation, as I wanted to take the rust off my French during a trip in Paris. she was very open, easy-going and at the same time very helpful in pointing-out prononciation, words that I didn't know, etc. I'm sure she's great for classes over a longer time period too. highly recommended.
