Spanish professional guitarist graduated from Musikene (Higher School of Music of the Basque Country) with a master's degree in Solo Performance in Centro Superior Katarina Gurska in Madrid. With more than six years of experience giving private classical and electric guitar lessons to children and adults, both amateurs and elementary and professional conservatory students. I offer personalized guitar lessons based on the needs and objectives of the student; whether it is starting to play, improving technique, or support and supervision in conservatory courses. On the other hand, I am familiar with pop-rock music and I offer electric and acoustic guitar lessons.

As a passionate professional guitarist I am looking forward to passing this passion on to other people. I will guide you in your journey through the classical guitar, and hope to stimulate your curiosity. I will not only guide you technically but I will also bring you the meaning of the music. The lessons can be for beginners or advanced. I work with scores and not with tablatures. I do this because classical music is easier to understand that way. So I teach you to read scores and to be able to play them on the guitar. For the advanced we will mainly work on refining the repertoire, technical skills and tone projection.

The content of my lessons is tailored to what you need: • Technique: Training flexibility and strength to be able to play more easily • Interpretation of music in all styles: How do you play baroque, classical, tango, bossa, romantic? • Learning to deal with stage fear and nerves: Everyone can learn this and it has everything to do with the way of practicing! • Learn to study new music efficiently: Learn a new composition in a week or even a day. Hey! My name is Richard and I give private lessons to all levels. For guitar, it is important that you can improve yourself in a pleasant environment in a fun way where your interests are central. Knowledge of solfège or music theory is not required, we can always discuss this in class if you wish, but that is certainly not mandatory ;) I have been playing the guitar since I was 9 years old and for several years now I have been playing in professional bands with which I have been able to play on sugar rock, for example. Folk or classical acoustic guitar. The teaching philosophy is adapted to the level of each individual, according to the pace of work and motivation. For example, for beginners: Technique of the plectrum or fingers, coordination and correction of the right and left hand.
