Hi! My name is Zuzanna, and I'd love to help you with studying law. Although hard at times, the law is interesting and connected with many aspects of our daily lives. Consequently, if you want to learn it, it is important to study it well. I'm happy to assist you with understanding different areas of law, and I'll explain them in an interesting and easy way. I can also help you with a specific topic in that area of law, exam revision, and writing your essays and/or problem questions answers. Additionally, I can help you catch up with the material over the summer holidays. Law modules I cover: - Contract Law - Property Law - Land Law - Public Law - Law of the European Union - Criminal Law - Legal Skills - Legal Research Skills I also offer in-depth classes on human rights law and international human rights organisations.

Sociology spans across such a broad range of topics, and at times goes into quite extensive detail. This class will provide extra help outside of usual school hours on GCSE and A-Level sociology. But also anybody interested in learning more about Sociology. I will teach a session on a particular topic/theory and will provide some extra work to do away from the tutoring time, and be sure to give detailed and useful feedback after session/extra work. If you could message me prior with topics/theories that need to be covered I can have everything ready prior to the tutoring session.

Theoretical subjects and languages often seem complicated to grasp. The concepts and terminology the former contains sometimes make it difficult for students to get a proper hold on a basic part of the subjects. However, I will introduce all these theoretical concepts to you uniquely and in a storytelling mode. These subjects will not haunt you anymore, as your tutor is here to guide you throughout your journey with a proper study plan and fun learning.

Theories and Thinkers of Sociology and Criminology Explore the ideas that have shaped sociology and criminology with a focus on influential thinkers and groundbreaking theories. This class covers major sociological and criminological theories, from classical frameworks to contemporary perspectives. Students will examine the works of key thinkers like Durkheim, Weber, Marx, Foucault, and others, understanding how their ideas contribute to our knowledge of society and criminal behavior. By analyzing these foundational theories, students will develop critical thinking skills and a deep understanding of how social forces and structures impact individual and group actions in society.

I specialise in teaching GCSE and A level sociology and psychology and also I am able to teach GCSE religious studies. As I am a newly graduated student hence I am up to date with today’s curriculum and what to teach students. My name is Christian and I am a qualified solicitor back in my home country of New Zealand.I've recently moved to London and before I embark on my next professional adventure, I thought it might be a nice time to give back some of the knowledge I've collected over my studies and professional experience. I took great satisfaction when I helped my younger brother during his legal studies (and even more so when I admitted him to become a lawyer). I spent many years trying to grasp what the law is, how to write a 'legal opinion', how to write 'like a lawyer' - even how to 'think like a lawyer'. Surprisingly, all thise things are actually quite helpful even if you don't want to become a lawyer. Understanding the law can help you know your rights better, it can help you solve problems more logically, it can help you write more concisely and more persuasively. Anywhere you go or whatever you want to do, somewhere along the line the law will be involved - if ever so slightly. And the best part is, there is always more to learn! Even the finest judges, or the most distinguished King's Counsel don't know everything about the law (although they;d be pretty bloody close). With over one year experience in teaching and a decade long experience with adolescents and young adults, I, herein, present my course in "International Humanitarian Law". In today's globalized world where the effects and repercussions of a conflict are not confined within a single state, it becomes crucial to know what rules are in place that regulate conflict and provide protection to those who are vulnerable. Aiming to mitigate and prevent human suffering in an armed conflict, International Humanitarian Law gives us answers to questions, such as: who can and cannot be targeted and under which conditions; at what times does a protected person lose protection; who is a combatant; what distinguishes a combatant from a civilian; and, what protections are available to those who do not take part in an armed conflict. Amidst the many interstate conflicts, such as, Ukraine-Russia, Iran-Israel and Palestine-Israel conflicts, as well as the intrastate ones, such as in Sudan, having a working knowledge of International Humanitarian Law becomes even more vital as it re-establishes one's trust in law and humanity at such uncertain times as these ones.
