With over ten years of experience as a teacher of music foundations, music theory and children's music, I am committed to teaching the younger generations the basics of music theory. Experienced Oud & Oriental singing teacher for over 8 years, Lebanese, currently residing in Mönchengladbach. I studied for 8 years at the Lebanese National Conservatory. I was a teacher at Casa Beethoven Academy in Lebanon and also offered private lessons. Additionally, I served as a concertmaster in the oriental orchestra "Loubnan Assalam" for more than 5 years. My reason for relocating to Germany is to complete my studies at the University of Kamp Lintfort. I am fluent in English, Couramment en français, ولغتي الأم هي اللغة العربية. Unfortunately, I speak only a little German (Aber leider spreche ich ein bisschen Deutsch). My recommendation for learning the Oud is to begin by studying musical notes and notation before delving into songs. While some students prefer to jump straight into playing songs, understanding the fundamentals of music notation accelerates progress in the long run. Dedication and hard work can yield significant progress within a year, enabling you to play simple tunes. However, if you lack a passion for music or the instrument itself, I advise against pursuing it. As a friendly and passionate teacher, I derive joy from witnessing my students' progress and enjoy playing duets with them. The class will be an hour long, divided into two halves: the first half is practical and is specialized in exercises to strengthen the student’s abilities to play the oud, while the second half will be specialized in learning the science of Arabic music theory from Arabic (maqams)/scales and Arabic rhythms.

We will explore the development of Western European music from Antiquity to Modernity, based on my former Berklee College of Music training (alumni). Antiquity,Middle Ages,Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, romantic, and 20th century ; music spanning all these periods will be explored in depth.

In this course I teach you to become familiar with the scores of the Gregorian Chant and its Vatican notation, which works in tetragram instead of staff, and does not have the conventional rhythmic figures. We will learn the Gregorian symbols and ways, while also awakening the voice and gaining notions of Latin, history and liturgy.

My teaching method is scrupulously adapted to each student I have, regardless of the subject to work on (musical language, cello, music history, analysis, conducting, etc.) I always apply the Belgian teaching model, where I trained with my master's degrees in Conducting (Antwerp) and Historical Cello (Brussels). According to this model, the main thing is a living and practical teaching, taking understanding and not memory as the main learning engine.

He studied at the "Musikene" (Higher Conservatory of Music of the Basque Country) with Eric Devallon, Tomás Jérez, Antonio Felipe Belijar and Miguel Ángel Lorente. Passionate about multidisciplinary artistic creation, he thinks of the mixing of all the arts in the same show as an aesthetic goal. This type of research could be observed in his project for his final master's recital in Brussels where he created a project based on Maslow's theory of the hierarchy of human needs where he mixed live, recorded music, dance, light shows and effects under the name: “according to Maslow... ” In terms of his career as a concert artist, he has played in different ensembles (solo performances, duo, trio, quartet, orchestra...) and different countries such as Japan (Artisanal Musical Fair "Suono Italia" 2010), Belgium (Festival Musiq3 2016), Artonov Festival at BOZAR in 2016...), France (Dax chamber music festival 2011) or Spain (Music Festival “Quincena Musical” 2015, Aste Nagusia 2015, Heineken Jazzaldia 2014, Festival Kutxa 2015, Intercentros Melómano 2010).

I have more than 20 years of experience in teaching the violin to beginners, intermediate and advanced students of any age. I offer online /webcam violin classes for kids, teenagers, and adults of any level. You can choose between modern and baroque violin. Once a year we organize a summer school in warm and beautiful Italy (Rome and surroundings) to study with you: violin solo program, chamber music, and Ear Training.
