Hello ! I am a master's student in computer science at EPFL with a passion for teaching, I offer tutoring in mathematics, physics and computer programming. With my experience as a tutor for high school students, I have developed a personalized teaching approach adapted to the needs of each student. I offer both reinforcement and in-depth courses, adapted to the students' pace and the teachers' requirements. With 10 years of experience in individual monitoring and 5 years in front of diverse classes, I do not offer so much academic support as lively and interactive courses, whose key words are kindness and encouragement. Familiar with the Swiss and French programs as well as the IB, I know the frequent and less frequent sticking points that students encounter, as well as the classic exercises that must be redone absolutely and those that go further. My method: Understanding and assimilating the course are at the heart of everything, and that is why I particularly insist on this point which often requires filling in gaps from previous years. Concrete illustrations and targeted training then facilitate these famous understanding triggers which allow the student to finally release their full potential. We always proceed in stages: course - classic exercises - more advanced exercises, with obviously homework from one time to the next to anchor the knowledge and develop the autonomy necessary to solve complex problems. As a 3rd year physics student at ETH, I offer private lessons in mathematics as well as academic support for middle school, high school/gymnasium and first year university students. I mainly base myself on the progressive resolution of exercises, to understand where the difficulties come from and to be able to overcome them. I listen and adapt to the student in order to understand their perspective. I can thus approach problems in the way that suits him best, which allows me to create solid foundations and establish an excellent understanding of the subject. A progressive approach to exercises and regular practice builds self-confidence and allows for great improvement over the long term! I am a first year master's student at EPFL, in biology. I offer support courses in mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology. I have always been fascinated by science and now I hold a doctorate in solid-state physics from the University of Geneva. Science subjects can help you pass exams. Master's student in physics having obtained the baccalaureate with very good honors (19.8/20 general average) I happily help in learning mathematics and sciences in general which made me want to study at the EPFL and to come to KTH afterwards. I offer to give help lessons in mathematics or physics for all levels (up to the start of secondary studies) occasionally or regularly. I have previously given lessons to children. Having several young nephews and nieces and having regularly carried out baby sittings, I am used to supervising children. I can also help with English classes (after having lived for several months in Cambridge, England), French, philosophy or provide comprehensive school support for homework help for children. Second year physics student at EPFL Lausanne. The courses are aimed in particular at university students, but also at secondary school students. At university, I have been an assistant in Chemistry for the first years of EPFL for a few years as well as for a course linking mathematics and electronics, called Signals and Systems.
