My master software is Ableton Live, and I also program in Max MSP, so if you feel like it, we can also explore the extraordinary that Max for Live (M4L) offers Ableton! If you are on another software I may be able to convey to you a number of main principles but would be less detailed in the knowledge. In the same way, if you have a synthesizer or other hardware that you want to understand better, I could give you the basic principles, and we can study the specificities of your machines together. "Bome MIDI Translator Pro" is an application that allows performing artists to control a program on their mac/pc or a MIDI device (MIDI compatible) from another MIDI device. For example, you can control one or more programs from a control surface, direct any DJ'ing software with your turntables, assign a MIDI message to one or more other(s). ) MIDI message(s), transform "Ableton Live" into Loop Station 8x4, optimize your "AKAI APC 20/40" (or other) with custom scripts and much more... This course is a practical introduction to the basic concepts of the application and the methods of designing more complex presets and configurations which will allow you to unleash your creativity and take control of your machines in a way you never knew before. perhaps not yet imagined. Cello is not just an orchestral or chamber music instrument! Learn modern styles and techniques of playing cello, whilst also building a strong traditional technique. This is a good class for students who already have some music training and wish to expand their knowledge into performative or production areas - such a using loopstation, sound design on the cello, finding your 'voice' as an artist. Or simply for those who wish to explore music outside of traditional genres - learn how cello is used in genres such as electronic music, pop music or rock!

I offer tailor-made and totally flexible and adaptable teaching, depending on the level, needs and desires of the student(s). The objective for me is above all to combine progress and fun. I generally prefer to work with children and teenagers because their energy fascinates me, but I also give lessons to adults.

Garageband is a powerful Digital Audio Workstation that allows musicians and beginner producers to record a whole album if they wish. I'll teach you how to remake a song/piece of your choosing from the ground up. You'll use the inbuilt virtual instruments, your own voice, and your guitar/keyboard to rebuild your chosen track or give it your own unique stamp. Music production is a huge topic so I'll teach you the essential musical skills such as ear training, understanding rhythm and basic harmony. You'll learn basic recording skills using the iPad mic or an interface and we'll use virtual/real instruments to record the parts. You'll learn how to edit and I'll show you how to create an interesting song structure and how to layer multiple instruments so they don't clash! Finally, we'll look at mixing, effects, and EQ to give your track a professional polish!

We will tailor these sessions towards whatever areas of music production you desire. I can help up your skills in sound design, recording techniques, and composition.
