Almost every musician can play some piano, but that does not mean they are pianists or piano teachers. I offer piano lessons at your place for an affordable price. I have a diploma in piano pedagogy. I studied didactics and methodology for teaching piano. I use modern methods and piano books. I have a big collection of music sheets available for my students. I am also interested in discovering historical methods of piano pedagogy that were used by the biggest composers such as W. A. Mozart and J. S. Bach. My experiences: I've been teaching for 9 years and have taught almost 40 students, among them around 5 adults. I have an individual approach that will fit your needs, for instance, we can strictly follow the piano books, or we can improvise and play songs without music score or without talking about music theory. I hope to share the joy of playing the double bass and the piano through teaching. It is so pleasant to make music and I wish to let more people know about it. The classes are very flexible. Hi there! My name is Norica. I am a pianist and a piano teacher from Tokyo. Just quickly to the point: My approach is holistic and systematic. It uses lots of fun exercises and nice educational materials from Japan in addition to the Internationally recognized standard books. (Don't worry, you don't have to understand Japanese!) You learn not only how to play piano but also how music works- music theory. I know what my students are good at and not so good at right off the bat. That's why I can tailor the lesson plans to their goals and needs. Also, if you like to take an ABRSM exam, the syllables will be tailored accordingly. So what will be tested on the day of the exam is integrated into the lessons and my class/lesson offers all-round preparation for the exam. I have helped my students pass G1, 3, 5 and 6 with a good score. Another important aspect of my lesson is to focus on improving cognitive skills - increasing memory, right-hand-left-hand-coordination, sustained attention, nonverbal communication, and a feeling of independence and freedom. I do so with unique materials from Japan and fun training. Currently students from 4 to 75 years old are taking my lessons. I’m a 24-year-old Portuguese clarinetist, teacher, and musician with years of experience. I hold a Bachelor’s degree from Codarts University of the Arts and am currently pursuing my Master’s degree at the Royal Conservatoire of Antwerp. While my main expertise is in clarinet and classical music, I’m passionate about exploring other genres, including jazz and pop. I have extensive experience performing in a wide range of ensembles, orchestras, and combos across different styles. Teaching and inspiring other musicians is something I truly enjoy. I’m a friendly and enthusiastic person who believes in creating a supportive and fun environment for learning music. There are two grand pianos at the location in Den Haag. There will be enough distance between the student and the teacher. For children, it is important to develop basic musical skills through Singing, Rythmique, and Ear training besides piano playing. I use one technical exercise book, the main textbook, and a theory book. Through these 3 books, students learn different aspects of music and they naturally get ready for exams and grades. After acquiring basic skills, students study Harmony and Chord exercises too. These are useful for playing pops and jazz, and they obtain a deeper understanding of classical pieces too. Private Piano lesson, from age 4 and above. Children can start the lesson after being able to read the numbers from 1 to 5 and the alphabet from A to G. Advanced students who want to prepare for competitions, auditions, ABRSM, GCSE, IB exams, or the entrance exam of the conservatory. The concert is held annually together with students of flute, violin, and composition teachers. For the ages 1-7 years, I have group Rhythmique lessons.

Hello! I am a classically trained pianist with a Master's Degree from the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague. I have 8 years of teaching experience, with students from all ages and levels. My teaching methodology is focused on adapting to the student's needs and motivations while passing on my knowledge to help the student develop musical independence and create a personal connection with music. I organize 2 class concerts per year in a beautiful venue, so that the pupils perform their favorite pieces and showcase their progress to family, friends, and classmates. A composition class that is tailored to your musical needs! This class's main purpose is to help you find your own musical language and voice, either you are a complete beginner in music or a highly skilled musician. The most important question that you will be asked is ''Why?'', in order for you to learn to have control over your musical product, sound and decisions, so that you are always sure that your musical vision is being well translated and transmitted through your work. In this class we are going to work with: 1) Compositional techniques --- Every lesson we are going to discuss about how do you think your piece should be, and about what does your piece need. For that you will need your intuition but also your ''tools'', and those are your compositional techniques. We are going to see them in other pieces and learn how to use them through your own musical vision. 2) Instrumentation --- To write acoutic music you need your ''arsenal'' and those are the instruments that you might use. In this class we will learn the categories, material, sound, structure and combinations of every instrument. We will learn together how each instrument works and how to notate it on paper, so that you are never limited by the nature of the instrument, but instead you are going to be able to bring out 100% of your music. 3) Arranging --- To make sure that you keep your instrumentation skills, we need to put them to use, not only in your music, but also in an arrangement. Together we are going to work on changing the instrumentation in piece and making arrangements of them so that you have a better nderstanding on how the instrumentation of a piece affects directly the compositional proscess and purpose of a piece of music, but also what are the differences between the sound of each instrument while combining them. Also, this will help you make decisions about the result of the arrangement, do you want it to be true to the original, or not? If not, why, and how do you do that? 4) Music History --- Together we will listen to music and learn some basic music history so that you have a better understanding of the different styles, structures and aspects of music, from the Byzantium and Middle ages music, all the way to the music of today. 5) Improvisation --- If you are also an instrumental player, will work also with improvisation. With improvisation you can strengthen your compositional skills, by understanding your intuition, developing your ear, understanding your taste and learning to work with few material, but the most important thing is to learn how to listen and play music with others, because by learning that, you also learn how to communicate and listen all these musical ideas that you have within you before writting (playing) them, controling them and understanding what is needed and what is not in your music. 6) Film scoring --- If you are interested, in this lesson we will also learn how to adapt music to screen. We will learn how to spot the tempo, feeling and texture of a scene but also how to enhance the message of a movie/game/scene/theatre play/documentary with our music. Furthermore will will learn how to use software for midi composition, and VST instruments 7) Electroacoustic composition and sound design --- If you are also interested in electroacoustic music, in this lesson we will learn how to work with sound editting, mixing, design and engineering. We will listen and learn a lot of electroacoustic compositional tecniques to help you explore, understand and work with a complete different musical world. Our goal is to grow your musical perception and horizon. 8) Music notation and software --- For us composers to write our music sometimes we need to use some programs that help us. In the lesson we will learn how to use programs like that, like Musescore, Sibelius, Reaper etc.

Highly dedicated and passionate teacher. Age does not matter when it comes to learning, just enjoying it. Lessons for beginners to more advanced students. Always trying to keep a creative environment where the students can express themselves in all aspects. I believe that it is necessary to be constant. The ideal would be one hour or hour and a half a week, but that depends on the student availability. I would provide a personal adaptation. I like playing games, singing and coming up to most creative solutions for learning fast inside of a save space for questions and imagination of the student. It is very important to motivate the students regarding to their music tastes. I consider myself an involved and motivated musician. I am constantly trying to learn new styles and enjoy so much doing it. At the moment I am studying my second bachelor degree in music, specifically in Early Music. I am very flexible with schedules for lessons so coming to a common point should not be very difficult.
