Singing Lessons I am a native English speaker and have been teaching for over 10 years. My lessons are always fun and engaging because I believe that singing should be about sharing joy. I have students of all ages. In lessons we will work towards your personal goals and towards a healthy vocal technique. We will work at your level to learn more about how the voice works and how to achieve the best sound for what you want to sing. We can use German or English for technical terminology. My speciality is classical music and opera but I have also performed in Musicals and understand the different technical demands for popular music. I also have a scheme to help people improve sight reading skills, which is very useful if you want to join a choir. Music Theory Lessons Lessons will be made to suit your needs. You may want to pass an exam, or maybe just understand more about the dots on the page. We can use German or English technical terms for these lessons. Qualifications: BMus - Degree in Music from Royal Holloway, University of London PGCE (Music) - Certificate fo Secondary Education, Music MMus - Masters in Singing from DIT Conservatory of Music and Drama, Ireland.

I am an Italian soprano, graduated from the Dutch National Opera Academy. I work as a soloist as a freelance singer, and I teach singing to students of different levels and ages for many years. Dear students: My name is Denise and I'm a professional singer with a singing master's degree from Catalonia's Music College (ESMUC) specialized in Historical Singing, Musicology and Music Education. My experience runs mostly in early and classical music with an active performing life, nevertheless I also have the experience and knowledge of popular musical styles such as Latin-American folk, jazz and musicals. As a docent or vocal coach I've collaborate with different academic institutions and private artistic projects, focusing mostly on international students or social integration programs. I have years of experience teaching children, teenagers and adults in both Latin-America and Europe, therefore understanding different appreciation levels and needs. I have experience with students of all ages and I believe that there is no right age to start learning to play an instrument. I adapt my lessons to the objectives and tastes of each student. I was a teacher at Casa Beethoven Academy in Lebanon and also offered private lessons. Additionally, I served as a concertmaster in the oriental orchestra "Loubnan Assalam" for more than 5 years. Unfortunately, I speak only a little German (Aber leider spreche ich ein bisschen Deutsch). My recommendation for learning the Oud is to begin by studying musical notes and notation before delving into songs. While some students prefer to jump straight into playing songs, understanding the fundamentals of music notation accelerates progress in the long run. Dedication and hard work can yield significant progress within a year, enabling you to play simple tunes. However, if you lack a passion for music or the instrument itself, I advise against pursuing it. As a friendly and passionate teacher, I derive joy from witnessing my students' progress and enjoy playing duets with them.
