Hello everyone I'm Giorgos and i teach theorbo and classical guitar! The theorbo is a historical instrument born in the late 16th century, with a (potentially very) long neck and 14 strings. It's main purpose is to accompany one's self while singing, or other instruments or groups by playing mainly a low (bass) part which we fill with other notes that are indicated to us based on what the other instruments are doing, called a basso continuo part. One of the reasons I started playinf for the pure joy of being able to accompany and play with people, and if you share this idea you're more than welcome to join me and explore it. There's beautiful solo music to explore although it's nowhere nearly as much as our accompanying pieces are! The repertoire and possibilities of the guitar are huge, and i like to structure my lessons based on what you like to listen to and to play, while maintaining a certain path on the classical technique. I've been teaching for a long time and i'm very comfortable with it, and i enjoy seeing people get passionate about the instrument. It's a great hobby and a great calling to follow! I'll be happy to work together.

For example, for beginners: Technique of the plectrum or fingers, coordination and correction of the right and left hand. Learning basic chords, simple themes, simple rhythms, reading tablatures (...). Turkish reed flute is an essential instrument of Turkish Classcial Music. It has a deep and dense culture dating from 13. century around. If you want to learn about how to perform it you first need a teacher educated by masters on this field. As of many teachers you can find online but you make sure that not every tutor meets with traditional style. Solfege and method are inseperable parts of the lessons. So for beginners and intermediate students must follow a compotent tutor to learn about the way of classic form.
