Lessons and Test Prep from Algebra through Calculus.
Some students believe that they are not mathematically gifted; therefore incapable of learning mathematics. I believe the contrary, that all students with motivation sustained by the teacher and confidence in their mathematical skills are essential to the student’s success in the classroom.
I include reflection in my daily practices to encourage students to be reflective, while developing their ability to learn and innovate. In my opinion, reflection is fundamental for students to be able to manage complex thinking processes and outcomes adequately. Reflective practices aid learners to expand their understanding of concepts by creating new connections and relating different ideas; and can guide them to understand themselves as learners by maximizing their strengths and minimizing their weaknesses. To support my students to become independent and reflective learners, I consider two complementary types of reflection: Reflecting on what is being accomplished to support deeper understanding of the concepts; and making learning itself an object of reflection to support student self-regulation and independent learning.
I refer to the Socratic Method, Bloom’s Taxonomy of Critical Thought and Howard Gardner’s Multiple Intelligences when I am creating my daily lesson plans to assure that I teach to a variety of learning styles. By teaching to these learning styles and presenting the concept in the ways stated above, I create an atmosphere where success for the student is probable. I consider success to be more likely because not only am I presenting information multiple ways, but I am also encouraging students who understand the material to help others who do not; therefore giving the students a view of the material from their peers. Creating this success is the first step in motivation. I believe that once the students understand that math is a subject that they can understand, their confidence and motivation will increase therefore making them more apt to put forth more effort in the math classroom.

(French)My goal is to guide learners to become confident, responsible to themselves, responsible to others and respectful. I take reflection into account in my daily practices, in order to encourage students to reflect, while developing their capacity to learn and innovate. In my opinion, reflection is fundamental for students to be able to properly manage complex thought processes and their results. To help my students become independent and reflective, I consider two types of complementary reflection: Reflect on what is accomplished to promote a deeper understanding of the concepts; and make learning itself an object of reflection to support student self-regulation and independent learning.
Another goal of mine is to help my students take risks in their own learning, and not see mistakes as failures, but as a means of progress. I still believe in creating a culture of learning in the classroom so that students feel emotionally secure and become effective critical and creative thinkers. This needs to be taken into account so that students learn to see mistakes as a learning opportunity and not something to be feared, which enables them to acquire and appreciate qualities such as empathy and tolerance of people. diverse opinions and resilience in the face of adversity. Such qualities have positive effects on academic performance and life outcomes.

As an educator, it's extremely important to recognize individual strengths and be able to support all learners.
I am always convinced to create a culture of learning in classrooms so students feel emotionally safe and become effective critical and creative thinkers. This needs to be recognized so that students learn to see making mistakes as a learning opportunity and not something to be feared; thus, allowing them to gain and appreciate qualities like empathy and tolerance of various opinions and resilience to adversity. In addition, Encouraging engagement and autonomy is a great way to help students understand the purpose of what they are learning to their lives.

With my help and guidance, I am sure you will become confident in solving problems and understanding mathematical concepts.
The lessons will be tailored to your needs and their structure depends highly on you: usually it is a mixture of repeating the content, solving exercises together, summarising important concepts and talking about exercises you tried yourself at home. The topics, content, pace and methods of learning will be adjusted to your needs, ensuring that you get the most out of my lessons. Besides the lessons, you will get "homework" to work on to strengthen your skills and independent working.
Topics include, but are not limited to:
-Linear Algebra
-Calculus
-Trigonometry
-Geometry
-Set Theory and Metrics
-Analysis
-Algebra
-Numerical Analysis
-Number Theory
-Probability
-Logic and Proofs
-Galois Theory
If you have another topic in mind that you really need help with, just send me a message!
Whether you need someone that explains the concepts to you or just someone to practice exercises with - I am sure I can help you. You have an exam soon and want to review the main topics? No problem! You have a very specific problem, question or topic that you need help with? I'm here to answer any questions!
The most important part of my lessons is, however, to ensure a safe and comfortable environment - I have no issue with explaining the same concept over and over again until I am convinced that you have understood it. It is important to me that you feel comfortable in asking any questions - I want to show you, that Math is more than a subject and that it can be fun!

MATHS lessons for every school level: IB, pre IB, MYP, IGCSE and GCSE studentsI have worked for 6 years now with kids from international schools who were "hating" maths because the methods used by their IB teachers were too complicated and hard to understand.
I believe that no one is "not mathematical", we just have to find the way to approach the subject together; I have indeed a few teaching methods that can be adapted to a kids' needs, I believe every kid needs a different method to fully understand the subject.
I provide 3 types of lessons that represent 3 phases:
1. THEORY - Understanding the theory behind the exercises, this phase is the shortest since I believe that to fully understand maths you need to exercise.
2. EXERCISES - Doing exercises divided by subject we. just went through in the theory part.
3. PAST PAPERS - Going through past papers to "simulate" a potential exam.
Dividing the process in 3 phases has proven really effective in succeeding not only during the year but also at the final exams.

"Maths on tips" in easy ways for beginner, intermediate, and advanced levelsMaths is a subject that requires clarity of concepts. Sometimes it happens that our basic concepts are not clear thats why we are not able to solve questions efficiently. I'll be discussing with you where exactly you are, will come to your level, and then take you up with me from there.
I am a teacher with whom you can ask any basic silly concept to any complex one.
COURSE OUTLINE:
* Foundation of Mathematics
* Basic concepts in Mathematics
* Algebra and Trigonometry
* Elementary statistics
* Modern Geometry
* Calculus
* Differential Equations
This is an outline of the course. Apart from this, if you have any doubt on any particular topic, you can obviously clear that concept with me.
Let's start and make it fun.

Primary & Middle School Mathematics Individual French System & Brevet PreparationI love math because it's a subject that, while intimidating to some, is also incredibly logical and rewarding. Understanding math is like solving puzzles—every problem has a solution, and every step is a small challenge to overcome.
This mathematics course is designed to support primary and secondary school students (up to grade 9) in the French system. It covers all the essential concepts of the curriculum: numeration, calculation, geometry, problem solving, statistics and probability, algebra, and preparation for the Brevet (Brevet).
The goal is to strengthen the foundations, clarify gray areas, and give the student confidence and autonomy.
Each session is personalized according to the student's level, pace, and needs. Fun methods are used for younger students, while discipline and strategy are used for older students.
