I am a Clarinet, Saxophone and Vocal coach from Zimbabwe with over a decade of teaching and performance experience from leading a successful solo career and working as a music teacher. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Jazz singing from Haute Ecole de Musique (HEMU) Lausanne where I am currently studying a Masters in Jazz Pedagogy. I have also studied music in Dublin Ireland, where I acquired a Higher Certificate in Jazz and Contemporary Music from Newpark Music Centre's Berklee Track program whi h is facilitated by Berklee College of Music in Boston. I was the 2024 laureat of the Foundation Casino Barrier Award for talent and creativity and a 2018 winner of the Zimbabwean National Arts Council's National Arts Merit Award (NAMA). I also give importance to well-being, self-confidence, or other abilities that the student would like to acquire. SOLFÈGE: My courses cover several aspects necessary for the successful learning of music theory: strategies for recognizing intervals, chords and rhythms and their executions, singing, musical indications, exercises, attentive listening, musicality. These aspects are essential to instrumental practice, because they first allow you to correctly read a score, then analyze and interpret it.

I am a viola and violin teacher. I am currently doing my teaching master's degree at HEMU. I already have a master's degree in performance obtained at the same school. I am trained in Willems musical pedagogy, and teach early learning, musical initiation grades 1 to 3, solfege and the first years of violin. I have 5 years of experience in teaching Willems musical initiation in a recognized Vaud music school (multisite), for early learning (3 year olds), musical initiation (4-5, 5-6) , 7-8) and has a certificate in solfege and violin.

Student at the Lausanne music school, I offer saxophone lessons. My experience playing in very varied ensembles and styles (chamber music, metal groups, rock, funk, Cuban, gospel, tango, orchestras, big jazz band, etc.) and with various musical instruments has allowed me to allowed us to develop a versatile musical approach. I followed a classical conservatory course in guitar and saxophone, then a jazz saxophone course. Passionate about improvisation, creation, writing or sharing with others, he creates music close to his emotions, where the desire to bring together the grandiose and the intimate is felt. He released the 1st EP of his group "AlterBoy" entitled "Fake?", with which he brings together his influences from Trip-Hop, Rock, pop-electro, Folk or even classical and impressionist music. He appears on the EP(s) "On and On", and "Over and Out" by Etienne Machine, or on the EP "D'ou je suis, ou es-tu?" by Betty Patural. He produced the artist's next record "J.NUNN" who released his 1st single "Hidden Guide" in 2023. The 5 string banjo is an amazing instrument. It's driving trademark sound and it's African roots has contributed to many music traditions, including Country, Bluegrass, Blues, Jazz and world music. In my class you'll first learn the basics, how to hold and pick and read tablatures. We'll then go through how to play a tune, accompany other instruments and finally, improvise. During the year I'll teach you basic music theory like rhythm, harmony and a bit of ear training to help you develop your understanding and relationship to the instrument. We'll mainly play Bluegrass Scruggs style at first, then we'll dive into melodic style and sigle string, that will all be useful for playing other kinds of music, like Irish music, Pop, Jazz or Blues. Ma recherche de doctorat est à propos de la neuropsychologie de l'apprentissage de la musique et ses applications dans la performance.
