Hello! I’m Miguel, a 22 year-old musician/singer/songwriter, based in London. I’ve been studying music theory and professional violin since I was 4 years old. I started as an orchestra player and went to music school till I was 18, when I started writing and composing my own material. I’d love to share some of the knowledge I’ve gathered through the years with you guys, whether you’re a beginner or already have some experience in the area, I’d love to help in any way I can to increase your abilities and achieve your musical goals. I can travel to your location on specific days of the week, but also offer online sessions if needed

I am a professional violinist with over 15 years in the industry. Graduated from Guildhall School of Music & Drama - this year rated the UK’s best music conservatoire and in the top 10 in the world. I will be teaching violin and everything related to it. Depending on your wishes, we will elaborate a strategy for your lessons in accordance with your goals. I'm an internationally award-winning composer, creative director and producer, lecturer and researcher, teaching GCSE (all exam boards), A-level (all exam boards), piano, composition, theory, aural, history, orchestration, and undergraduate/postgraduate degree courses/modules. I have taught for the last 25 years, privately as a piano, theory, composition, GCSE, A-level and undergraduate/postgraduate degrees, orchestration, history and musicianship/aural tutor with fellowships/posts at the Royal College of Music, London College of Fashion, London College of Communication, and the University of the Arts London. I have taught children from the age of 4+ up to adults (70+). I teach mainly online. I teach and guide each student differently, depending on their experience, commitment and what they wish to achieve - from relaxed music making, casual lessons, or rigorous work for exams, GCSE, A-level, degrees, entry exams, concerts or competitions. I am a professional pianist who has studied in St Petersburg Conservatory (in Russia) and at the moment work as a pianist, organist and concertmaster in different locations and I am willing to share my knowledge with people who have a passion for music. I am a composer/pianist currently studying at Royal College of Music. I started studying music at quite young, but never found my passion in it until my late teenage years. Now music is such an integral part of my life and well being, and I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and experiences to support others on their musical journeys. As a teacher I am very flexible and can adapt to how you want to learn, I also take a creative approach to teaching piano so that my students develop their musicianship and composition skills while learning the piano. As a composer, I always bring elements of music theory and composition into my piano teaching, so that my students can develop their musicianship and creativity while improving their piano playing skills. My teaching philosophy is that the most important aspect of learning music is to find one’s interest and passion in it, and my goal as a teacher is to support my students and help them find their passion in music; However, I am familiar with the ABRSM examinations and have a Grade 8 certificate myself, and I always tailor my lessons to different students based on what they are looking for.

You can take lessons even if: - Never played music before; - You do not know musical notation and are not familiar with the technique of playing the instrument; - Think it's too late for you to learn. Depending on your goals, there will be less or more theory in the course. We will select exercises for you to develop your pianistic technique. What will you learn: 1) Learn to play with two hands: You will immediately learn to play with two hands, and after a few lessons you will see that it is not as difficult as it seems. 2) You will be able to play compositions from memory: You will be able to show off your piano playing skills to your friends in a month, in the classroom you will learn compositions that you are interested in playing. 3) Learn to read music: Music will no longer be an unknown language for you. You will see how all these incomprehensible symbols easily turn into a melody. 4) Develop a sense of rhythm: Practicing the piano develops a sense of rhythm - you can better feel the music. 5) Become happier and more musical: You will be able to express your feelings in a new way. Hello! I am a warm, encouraging and adaptable musician and am about to graduate from the Royal Academy of Music. I am an experienced teacher and have a DBS certificate. This class is an opportunity to learn violin/ viola or receive tutoring in music theory (up to Grade 8) from an enthusiastic tutor who is passionate about music education. I have a positive approach and take into account the individuals needs and personality. I believe in a whole person approach to musical education and ensuring the student is always comfortable and confident when playing and performing.

Music has always been a huge part of my life and I would be thrilled to pass on my knowledge. I studied music at university and have Grade 8 in both piano and vocals, but I have also performed in many different venues across the UK. I have helped previous students with stage-fright and anxiety with performing as well as aiding them learn their favourite songs on piano - and singing along at the same time. I can teach in many different piano styles from popular music to classical and I can also teach music theory. I have a deep passion for traditional, holistic yogic practises and I understand that large classes can be overwhelming. I have found that Yoga is very individual, and with gentle 1:1 guidance, has lots room for personal growth. I can teach poses, breathing techniques and meditation to help us feel the best we can. All my lessons will be tailored to each student, we will discuss together the goals of the practise, and provide the balance of learning, but also making it fun and enjoyable and a space to relax.

Personal description: I am a professional classical musician, with a master’s degree in flute playing and years of experience playing solo, chamber music and with orchestras internationally. I offer Flute and Music Theory lessons to children and adults of all ages, skill levels (grades 1 through 8 and beyond). Also I offer Piano lessons for beginners (grades 1 and 2). Tutoring experience: I have worked in the National School of Arts “Prof. L. Pipkoff” Sofia, Bulgaria. My class had children of different ages and mastery of the subject. I prepared them for national exams and concert appearances. I’ve also given privet lessons. Tutoring approach: Since every pupil is different, I believe that a good teacher always adjusts his methods to the needs and personality of his student. I strive to provide a structured and clear lesson, while focusing on music as something to be enjoyed. I work with the requirements of the grade system (from grade 1 to grade 8). In the process the child will learn: Instrumental techniques, music literacy, correct breathing and ear training.
