I have an official B2 certificate, and together with my experience working abroad simultaneously in Spanish and English, my level has reached C1 Oral level. I will use books and exams to study grammar, but for me it is very important to really understand the language and for that you have to speak and try to do exercises first and then be able to understand the theory or the other way around, whichever is more comfortable for you.
