Filmmaking for beginners, from idea to final edit.

Stories have always been the most efficient ways to share an idea, a message or a concept. In today's world where videos are omnipresent, stories are encapsulated in them. Therefore, being able to create film on your own is a must for a good storytelling.

I graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and I have been working with several Fashion brands and others to create films that convey my client's story to their audience with any budget since 2009.

Though it's becoming more accessible, Filmmaking is an expensive activity. There are a lot of gear and software you need to buy or rent. Plus, you can't do everything on your own. However, with a proper understanding of filmmaking perspective, preparation, vision and style, you can belong to the community who loves to create movies for any budget and even respond properly to any client in the future if ever you chose that path.

There are millions of tutorials on youtube regarding the technicalities of filmmaking but in this class you will learn about the logic and the core principles of moving pictures, no matter the end goal nor the gear, their methodology and the steps to follow from pre-production to post-production.

In this class I will teach you three main sectors of industry to help you grow your own freelance creative business, or for you to hone your creative skills in a new job in which you work your way up in the industry. This class will also be a way to find work through your creative passions. My first class will be in Filmmaking specifically Directing and Cinematography. My second class will be in marketing, optimising exposure for your growing business or to help advertise yourself and your skills for employers in industry My third and final class will be in photography specifically studio Photography aswell as how to compose a shot so you capture the best photos

Creative Writing is a subject for those with imagination, talent, and a passion for literature, film and television, poetry and so much more. Whichever pathway you wish to discover, this class will give you the necessary skills to develop and explore different styles of writing, giving you an example of industry-standard work. This class can help you work towards English Language/Literature/Creative Writing qualifications at many different levels, hopefully inspiring you to pursue a university education or career in this field. However, if you simply wish to explore your talent in fiction writing, I can provide insight into the industry and university level education of this subject.
