Non-academic Latin lessons. Multilingual teacher with 9 years of experience. Pronunciation, historical linguistics, conceptual semantics.Contrary to popular belief, learning Latin is not like learning the phone book by heart.
I offer you Latin lessons that are unlike any other. There are two types of courses. Here is an analogy to illustrate their respective approaches:
If you take the train back and forth every day and don't have time to wait long at the platform, imagine that you only have two options:
1) Learn the schedules by heart.
2) Note that the train arrives every ten minutes and that a train arrives for example at 7:00 a.m.
In school pedagogy, in study notebooks and in ordinary courses, it is the first approach which is adopted - in the courses that I offer you, it is the second because it is more economical and faster.
My offer is aimed at both students and adults who want to learn the Latin language or deepen their knowledge without time-consuming detours through the insanities of school methods which do not produce results.
Learning is easy but unlearning what has become a bad habit is extremely difficult. All the more important it is to learn the right reflexes as early as possible. With my tailor-made teaching you will accelerate your learning in a positive state of mind.
I offer individual or group Latin lessons (2 to 5 people). The methods are based on cognitive sciences and in particular historical linguistics.
What will not be the subject of the course:
learn lists of verbs;
learn lists of nouns with their gender;
learn words with their translations;
memory card game;
doing school exercises;
follow the program in a notebook;
impose French grammar on the Latin language.
What matters to me in particular:
motivate my student and give him a learning rhythm;
encourage creativity;
make friends with language;
letters and their sounds
strengthen your memory by working on the phonological loop;
teach construction plans instead of having people learn sentences by heart;
explain how the language works to make my student independent as quickly as possible;
breaking preconceived ideas such as the gammatical gender would have a link with the biological gender, the accusative would be a direct complement and the dative an indirect complement, the verbs would be irregular, the declension would be random and therefore to be learned with each verb... ;
place practice at the center and articulate grammar around practice.
In the context of a first course, you can get a well-founded idea of my pedagogy.
I look forward to meeting you.
Majda
✨French teacher - Pass the DELF or DALF (French diploma) - Individual or group session. ✨Hello, I am Majda, French language teacher. I have been giving private lessons online since 2018.
I offer special sessions that meet your needs and objectives to successfully complete your DELF (Diplôme d'Etudes en Langue Française) or DALF (Advanced Diploma in French Language), including the TCF (French Knowledge Test). I have been supporting many interested people of different nationalities thanks to online courses since 2018; For me, helping enthusiasts to practice the French language is a very good experience because I understand that success is a capital objective in the life of ambitious people.
I speak Arabic, French, Spanish, and also English. I explain my lessons in the language of your choice. And at the end of each session, I give lessons with exercises to do as homework to examine your gaps and monitor your progress.
Here are some things to know about the DELF and DALF:
The DELF (Diploma of Studies in French Language) and the DALF (Advanced Diploma in French Language) are two official and quality diplomas. They are harmonized on the levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. They include the following six levels, in ascending order: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2. These two diplomas are suitable for all ages and all audiences.
In addition, the DELF B2, and increasingly the DALF C1, allow students to enter French, European or French-speaking universities, and certain Grandes Ecoles.
Will you have DELF or DALF exams to pass? Do you need to follow specific sessions with me to improve your level?
Don't hesitate to book your sessions so that we can start the preparation.

From my childhood I have been studying music and art: sang in choir and solo, played piano, painted, studied music history and literature, solfeggio. Later in college and universities I have also learned classical voice, choir conducting, had ensemble and choir singing lessons, cultural studies, speech training, continued my piano practice.

HMDK Stuttgart
Bachelor of classical singing
My education was very various: my core subjects were conducting, choir, voice, piano. So it allowed me to work with children, teens and adults with quite wide range of interests and needs: some students needed/wanted to learn particular composition(s), sometimes pop songs arrangements, some were interested in “introduction” to the music, some wanted to renew skills they gained in their childhood and continue their journey to the music world.
As for singer who studied a lot about different approaches, technics and singing schools "Speech Training" was a part of the main subjects. It is extremely important to have clear pronunciation, make it sound free/relaxed (without any tension or unhealthy blocks) more confident, and emotional.
On our Speech training lessons I will help you to make your speech more clear, your voice will sound more healthy and confident.

Communication Training (Professional / Personal) & Public SpeakingWhether your goal is personal or professional, speaking is a predominantly physical activity, relying on a body, a voice, a breath, a rhythm (diction) and an emotion (the imagination and the sensations, reflecting the involvement of the speaker in his speech.
How to send a clear message? How to make the difference, to make an impression? How to regain self-confidence and control the management of his emotions?
Knowing how to speak in public is now a necessity for the company and in the company. From a personal point of view, this is a vector for better relationships and optimal messages. On the phone, in a meeting, in front of a client or a banker (...), your public speaking must be effective and efficient with clear, simple and powerful messages, creating a match between the message received and the message sent.
Simple and pragmatic tools will be presented and then put into practice for: generating listening ● making an impression ● fostering trust ● generating need ● motivating teams by explaining a strategy ● getting messages across within groups.
Controlled, the method allows:
• improve self-confidence and stress management with the development of the speaker's fluency (verbal-bodily), his public speaking and his sense of repartee and improvisation
• to work on his ease, leadership, his NLP, his charisma, his creativity and to go towards a certain personal development, through a set of scenarios
* improve the characteristics of the spoken voice (timbre, pitch, intention, flow)
Completed by basic exercises (diction, voice, presence, breathing, presentation, time management ...), role plays, improvisations and simulations will be set up.
With the key words: pronunciation, rhetoric, verbal and non-verbal communication, diction / articulation, the sense of repartee, structured speech (...).
The goal is not only to focus on verbal communication but also on nonverbal communication, so as to make the control of his body, his voice (...), a real and lasting strength.
Depending on the interaction between the trainer - coach and the one who consults, there is no single way to operate: each type of session depends on the needs and difficulties of each.
In all cases, it is very often a question, while adapting to your own needs and after having precisely diagnosed your desired objective and the blockages encountered, to combine the theory (the bases of the studied concept, for example NLP / information asymmetry / the "how to say no" / the tools of non-verbal communication or the application of kinaesthesia) and its application (through exercises and direct applications).
For example, are discussed:
- the fundamentals of public speaking: breathing, gaze and body language
- diction and elocution: rhythm and range of your voice - management of your emotions and your emotional overflow (example: stress) - work on the body, to amplify your charisma and ensure consistency between your message and your body ... with the aim of:
* Enhance your presentation and arouse interest by focusing on your strengths, your qualities ... your personality
* Match the content and form of your message
* Improve your charisma, your self-confidence and the benefits of your emotional intelligence

But currently and until further notice, only by videoconference in accordance with national recommendations on Covid. These sessions also seem to be perfectly unanimous since they have the advantages of live (example: quality of the interaction), without its disadvantages (example: loss of travel time) with additional advantages (example: notes that can be re-read on the chat). In this context, the videoconference sessions for which you asked me to seem to suit everyone perfectly, take place very optimally and generate a certain enthusiasm (and a certain enthusiasm).
