About Me
Hello! My name is Lucy and I am a Computational chemistry student at the University of Southampton.I completed 3 A levels, Mathematics, Chemistry and physics (BBC).
I have been tutoring GCSE maths for 3 years, where I have helped many children boost their confidence when it comes to maths. I am London based and teach online :)
I am also starting to teach GCSE chemsitry as well as potentially physics!
My general approach when it comes to teaching maths is to strengthen the foundations.
I used to be like "why does the teacher give us such hard questions in the tests when they only gave us easy questions in class ! ? " That is because my foudnation was not strong enough hence why I did not understand / grasp the question. I would love to help students change this issue, by going through a series of questions, gradually approcahing the higher level / higher mark questions.
