I obtained my CESS in general education in Latin, Greek, history, math 4. Then I started studying at the University of Liège in ancient languages and letters classical orientation in September 2019. I obtained in June 2020 a complete success of the first bachelor in this option and I am now embarking on the pursuit of these studies. I have therefore accumulated a good deal of knowledge in the following subjects: Latin, ancient Greek, history. I am now able to give tutoring lessons to great beginners or intermediaries who need help in these subjects. My teaching methods are flexible and I can help with understanding and completing homework.

Contrary to popular belief, learning Latin is not like learning the phone book by heart. I offer you Latin lessons that are unlike any other. There are two types of courses. Here is an analogy to illustrate their respective approaches: If you take the train back and forth every day and don't have time to wait long at the platform, imagine that you only have two options: 1) Learn the schedules by heart. 2) Note that the train arrives every ten minutes and that a train arrives for example at 7:00 a.m. In school pedagogy, in study notebooks and in ordinary courses, it is the first approach which is adopted - in the courses that I offer you, it is the second because it is more economical and faster. My offer is aimed at both students and adults who want to learn the Latin language or deepen their knowledge without time-consuming detours through the insanities of school methods which do not produce results. Learning is easy but unlearning what has become a bad habit is extremely difficult. All the more important it is to learn the right reflexes as early as possible. With my tailor-made teaching you will accelerate your learning in a positive state of mind. I offer individual or group Latin lessons (2 to 5 people). The methods are based on cognitive sciences and in particular historical linguistics. What will not be the subject of the course: learn lists of verbs; learn lists of nouns with their gender; learn words with their translations; memory card game; doing school exercises; follow the program in a notebook; impose French grammar on the Latin language. What matters to me in particular: motivate my student and give him a learning rhythm; encourage creativity; make friends with language; letters and their sounds strengthen your memory by working on the phonological loop; teach construction plans instead of having people learn sentences by heart; explain how the language works to make my student independent as quickly as possible; breaking preconceived ideas such as the gammatical gender would have a link with the biological gender, the accusative would be a direct complement and the dative an indirect complement, the verbs would be irregular, the declension would be random and therefore to be learned with each verb... ; place practice at the center and articulate grammar around practice. The answer is simple—I have a deep passion for teaching and sharing the Greek language while connecting with people from around the world. Having studied abroad and built friendships with people from different cultures, this is something I truly enjoy. Although my expertise lies in applied sciences, I have always been fascinated by the beauty abd complexity of the Greek language. I can’t wait to embark on this language-learning journey with you! During my university years, I tutored middle and high school students in various subjects including Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry. While on my Erasmus exchange, I also had the opportunity to teach Greek to some of my international friends, which was an incredibly rewarding experience. You've probably said, 'It's all Greek to me' more than once! Together, we’ll dive into the Greek language while also exploring the rich cultural heritage that shapes it. Language is a key part of culture, but it's not the only one—by discovering Greek traditions, from its alphabet to its dances, you'll gain a deeper understanding of the beauty of the world’s oldest living language.

Teaching interactively and combining fun and knowledge is my style I have already had 3 years of teaching experience with various ages: from teenagers to adults, so you don't need to think that age is an obstacle for you. I have also completed a seminar and a university course on teaching Greek as a Second/Foreign language. The lessons are structured, and we will practice all the language skills during the lessons. I would not like my students to be just listeners but to participate actively and always discover new things, giving us the desired result. Working with various materials in Greek, we will focus on the difficulties and weaknesses. We will also use Greek in the lesson so that you can become familiar with the language more quickly and begin to use it effectively. Last but not least, I prepare students for certifications.

You don't need to have any knowledge of the Greek Language. You need only a PC and good internet connection. You don't have to buy any books or materials. You need only appetite to learn and to be present at the lessons. I will send everything you need about the lessons. My lessons are adjustable to your time to study. If you don't have time to study at home, don't worry. A lot of adults work or have children and is difficult for them to spend time at home studying. I will explain grammar, we will do together exercises, speaking, listening, vocabulary exercises and we will read texts. Also, videos and on line games will be provided to you. I am not strict as a teacher and I am very flexible about the schedule.

Latin is a rather subtle language and for some, almost enigmatic, as the style, vocabulary and syntax can be confusing. However, a few tips are enough to find your way through what seems like a labyrinth to the uninitiated. Don't panic! A practical method exists that will put you at ease when faced with any Latin challenge. The delicate syntax of this language will no longer be a torture for you and you might even find it fun to practice reading and understanding texts that previously seemed hermetic to you. Reading, analyzing, understanding and translating a Latin text is possible. And even - why not? - writing in Latin. As an experienced teacher, I offer you supervision (online or at home) taking into account the learner's level and adopting the most appropriate method for adequate monitoring. Online, the sessions will be recorded, if the listener wishes, and the video will be available for revision. You will have the rigor that this ancient language requires, today more current than ever. Declension, conjugation, syntax will always be a passion for you, by following the method that we propose to improve your level. You will soon translate texts from Latin to French (version) and from French to Latin (theme) in a simple and effective way. If you are an intermediate (non-exam) student, looking to upgrade and fill the gaps that could potentially hinder you in the exam class, you will find the skills and experience competition to be sure to meet the challenge. If you are a student in an exam class, you will find, through various media, the resources allowing you to get up to speed and approach the tests with confidence, with the certainty of a positive result. We have already supervised auditors online or in person with satisfactory results, using a method centered on the learner and taking into account their abilities and limitations. We proceed with a flexible method according to the level of development of the auditor/learner to avoid any dropout that may arise from reluctance or apprehension.
