From a personal perspective, social sciences, regardless of GCSE or A-level, require enormous reading and understanding of the texts, critical thinking and writing. These are crucial to students' performances for their exams. With a background in A-level History and Politics, I have designed this course with the purpose of helping GCSE and A-level students understand the texts they are required to read and grasp the essential logical reasoning and language needed to structure their essays.

I offer classes on History, Geography, and Political Science, with over 11 years' of experience in these subjects, both professionally and academically. I hold Bachelor's Degrees in both History and Political Science (from the University of Florida), as well as a Master's in Political Science, specifically European Politics (from KU Leuven). I have extensive experience in a wide range of historical and political subjects and have always had a keen interest in history and the social sciences. Additionally, previously I have been a journalist (dealing with Competition Law) and currently am an editor working on a wide variety of subjects for organizations such as the UNHCR and Goethe Institut, among others. I am capable of teaching and lecturing on numerous historical and political events and periods in history, with myself having specialized in European history, American history, African history, as well as the Medieval period and Antiquity.

The course module is adapted to the student. The summary will be communicated during the first lesson. I teach you to speak and/or write with an approach to the sciences of political communication, international relations, social and human sciences while convincing the person(s) in front of you with several negotiation techniques. ▪️ The techniques used will improve your level of confidence in your public presentations and storytelling. ▪️ Political communication is about the creation and exchange of ideas and opinions between citizens, public officials, political institutions, and related entities, such as the media. It includes discourse throughout the political process in local, state, national, and international political systems, as well as how political information can be exploited for political ends or to achieve political goals. People with a background in political communication may work in policy advice, foreign service, market research, public relations, journalism, and digital media, community organizing, lobbying, political campaigning, or other related fields. ▪️ BUT! in order to achieve your goal you must master public speaking which is the process or act of giving a speech in front of a live audience. Public speaking is generally understood to be formal, face to face, speaking from a single person to a group of listeners.

The onset of globalisation has made English the main spoken language for communication. Speaking fluent English is an imperative skill required to make socio-economic progress. I am currently a masters student at LSE, who was raised speaking the language. In addition to my fluency in English, I also can teach social sciences, as it is my field of expertise.

International Relations (IR) is the study of interactions between countries, focusing on diplomacy, conflict, and cooperation in a globalized world. The course, ' What is sociology?’, is taken from a textbook. The textbook comprehensively explores sociology, aimed at both students and educators. It explores various aspects of sociology and provides a rich understanding of social structures and institutions and their impact on human behavior and the organization of society. The course follows the same lines as my textbook (which can be found on Amazon in French and English). The course is organized into 14 modules as follows: 1. Introduction to Sociology 2 . The Future of Sociology 14 . Conclusion: A Reflective Journey Through Sociology Every time, the teacher starts by presenting the topic. The students are required to take notes. Then, we start the questions and answers to ensure the students understand what was said. Then, we summarize, and that ends the session. NB: There will also be a distribution of references for further reading on the subject. Overall, the course provides a theoretical foundation for understanding key sociological concepts and their application to analyze and resolve societal complexities. It will be supplemented by practical exercises in content analysis, text intelligence, etc.

Do we know that the Romanovs were related to the British Royal Family and how their brutal killings was shaped by geopolitics of the era, or how Hitler's death was a highly controversial political debate? You see how history and politics cannot be separated. It is also undeniable that having knowledge of the two subjects can help you achieve higher marks and credits, as well as a deeper understanding and passion for the subjects.

This class deals with the Rise and Fall of the Roman Empire from 753BC until 476AD. it is divided into two main into two main blocks these being: - 1. The pre-imperial era from the Early Monarchy until the collapse of The Roman Republic (753BC-31BC) 2. The imperial era from the Augustan settlement until the end of the Western Empire (30BC until 476AD) Each block will attempt to relate the past to the prsent by showing how many of the challenges facing The Ancient Romans are still being faced today. Attendees will also be taught practical skills such us how to critically evaluate Ancient sources. There will be a mixture of formal teaching , interactive discussion and role play. This class is a 'must' for those wishing to better understand Ancient History. They can expect to meet some larger than life characters.
