I am trained to solve any question in the lesson and can solve any question related to the lesson through many exercises and using the appropriate means to present the lesson with interactive exercises, PowerPoint, interactive role, continuous reviews of the lessons, constant follow-up with the guardian, interest in writing, reading, listening, dictation, developing the skill of expression and everything related to the Arabic language, and also teaching grammar rules. I am a former University Senior Lecturer with over 20 years experience in teaching and research. I am passionate about inspiring individuals to aim high. I have assisted multiple students and early career academics to achieve their goals. I worked in research and teaching roles within UK universities between 2004 and 2024 and am an Advance HE Fellow. I am the author of four books, have published in a range of international peer reviewed journals and have chapters in various other books. I also have significant experience in peer-reviewing for academic journals. After a twenty-year career in UK higher education I decided to embark on my own freelance private tutoring and academic consultancy business. I have delivered bespoke 1:1 tutorials to university students since April 2023. I was a part-time private tutor from April 2023 to June 2024 and have been full-time since then working with various tutoring agencies. I teach social sciences, qualitative research methods, study skills and academic writing and I have assisted students from undergraduate to PhD level. I have also assisted early career researchers or those new to teaching at the higher education level. The course, ' What is sociology?’, is taken from a textbook. The textbook comprehensively explores sociology, aimed at both students and educators. It explores various aspects of sociology and provides a rich understanding of social structures and institutions and their impact on human behavior and the organization of society. The course follows the same lines as my textbook (which can be found on Amazon in French and English). The course is organized into 14 modules as follows: 1. Introduction to Sociology 2 . Then, we start the questions and answers to ensure the students understand what was said. Then, we summarize, and that ends the session. NB: There will also be a distribution of references for further reading on the subject. This class deals with the Rise and Fall of the Roman Empire from 753BC until 476AD. it is divided into two main into two main blocks these being: - 1. The pre-imperial era from the Early Monarchy until the collapse of The Roman Republic (753BC-31BC) 2. The imperial era from the Augustan settlement until the end of the Western Empire (30BC until 476AD) Each block will attempt to relate the past to the prsent by showing how many of the challenges facing The Ancient Romans are still being faced today. Attendees will also be taught practical skills such us how to critically evaluate Ancient sources. There will be a mixture of formal teaching , interactive discussion and role play. This class is a 'must' for those wishing to better understand Ancient History. They can expect to meet some larger than life characters.
