I am a master's student in English who can teach beginners, intermediates and advanced learners of English. As a native English speaker, I offer individual lessons and group tutorials if needed. My methods, which have been described as fun and interactive by my students, include visual aids, music and hands-on sessions. We are learning, but it is also important to have fun and enjoy the process.

Originally from the UK, I have been working and travelling abroad for the last few years so I understand the difficulties and beauty of learning a new language. I enjoy working with conversation practice as well as more traditional methods of learning grammer - I believe it is important to adapt to each individual's needs and areas of interest in the process of helping them achieve their goals. I have worked as an English teacher to refugees as well as teaching dance and somatic movement practices online and in person. Currently I am based in Brussels but am happy to work online or come to you! In my own creative practice I work with poetry as well as performative spoken word, however I am happy to talk about a wide range of subjects with you. I will encourage you to read and discover new vocabulary at your own speed as well as in classes in a non-judgmental and fun atmosphere.

My name is Luca and I obtained my postgraduate degree in economics and business management from the Catholic University of Milan. Now, I am doing a master's degree in Business Economics at ULB in Brussels. I am ready to give lessons in my mother tongue, Italian, but also French and English. I have been giving lessons for 3 years. I spent 4 months at EM Normandie business school in Le Havre, France, where I took several management and finance courses entirely in French. This experience has considerably strengthened my knowledge and language skills: I am currently a C1 level in French (OLS Erasmus certificate) and B2 + in English (Ielts certificate). I do tutoring for primary and secondary students. However, I cannot help with science subjects for secondary school students. My father being Chilean, Spanish is my second language. Regarding English, I lived in England for a year where I took lessons. I also babysat children in Italy for several months, with whom I had to speak English constantly. I also have the First Certificate of English diploma. I took courses in a translation school for two years in English and Spanish. It allowed me to see in depth the grammar of these two languages and study them at a higher level. I gave French lessons for three years to non-French speakers. I try to find the method that corresponds to each one. Indeed, it is important for me to understand how the person to whom I am teaching works in order to best adapt my teaching. I don't think there's just one method, and imposing one on someone isn't productive for me.

I am an American student living and studying in Brussels. My teaching methods are based largely on my own experiences studying French, German and Japanese, combined with careful consideration of the interests and learning style of the student. The primary and most important motivation in language learning is the desire to understand and take part in another culture. I therefore try to understand why my students would like to learn English, and what aspects of English-speaking culture interest them, whether it be films, literature, music, etc. Our lessons will be primarily conversations entirely in English (or as much as possible) with corrections when needed. Using your current English level and the kinds of mistakes you make as a guide, we can look at grammar, pronunciation, and other topics to improve your level. If desired, we can prepare topics and resources ahead of class time, such as articles, movies, books, etc. to give us a theme for the conversation.

I offer my services as a teacher particular for homework help as well as for French, Dutch and English. French being my mother tongue, I have no trouble helping people with shortcomings in this area. Furthermore, i love reading so i always try to maintain a correct vocabulary and my grammar rules. Concerning English I am of a level C1 + according to the frame common European reference point for languages. My grammar, my conjugation and my vocabulary are therefore of a very good level. English is a language that I maintain a lot thanks to my correspondents but also through the films, books, music ... Finally, for Dutch, I am B2 (still according to the framework) and my grammar and conjugation bases are solid. I can easily help people of a level beginner in learning this language. It is also a language that I maintain through book or programs but also thanks to some bilingual knowledge in my entourage. Also, patient and loving nature to teach, I can also be a help for homework or primary level work or secondary. This one-hour course can help you/your child improve certain subjects: Spanish. It is based on the review of acquired knowledge in order to correct gaps through exercises. Then a deepening of the course in the case where the knowledge is already acquired.
