Instrumental performance: Flute, recorder and piano

I have been playing classical piano for 14 years. Obviously a lot solo, but also in ensembles, as an accompanist for flutists, violinists, clarinetists and singers. I was also a paid rehearsal director and pianist for a music theater company for a while and I played concerts in an orchestra. More importantly, I also enjoy teaching! Whether you are just starting out or have been working for some time, together we can tinker with your technique and execution.

The way I teach actually depends entirely on the student. The way I explain the concepts, plan and structure the lessons and approach each subject all depends on whether the student is a beginner, intermediate or advanced, and whether he or she has some experience on the subject. Each student has different needs and different abilities. It's just a matter of getting to know the student, in order to identify both the weaknesses and strengths on which to work.

With a lifelong passion for music, I bring a diverse background to my teaching, ranging from classical piano to jazz, rock, and beyond. My experience includes playing various instruments and performing in bands, orchestras, and chamber music ensembles. Currently pursuing a Master’s with a focus on chamber music, I am dedicated to sharing my enthusiasm for collaborative music-making with my students. We spelen de muziek die jij leuk vindt, terwijl we ook werken aan belangrijke basisvaardigheden, een goede techniek en zelfs het verkennen van improvisatie. Plezier en creativiteit staan voorop! Hi, I am Mario. I am 20 years old and I am currently finishing my bachelor degree in classical violin at Utrecht Conservatory. I come from a family of musicians and I started playing the violin when I was 4 years old. The classes will be adapted to the student's level. Hello! My name is Mick. I am an electronic musician, living in Rhenen, but active in Utrecht and Amsterdam. I have made music for various theater performances and my installations have also been shown in various places in the Netherlands. In this series of lessons we will cover various parts of electronic music, but the teaching material also depends very much on the interests and ambitions of the student. The lessons I teach are completely focused on the desire of the student. If a student is very interested in the technical aspects of sound design or programming, that will be the focus. If a student is interested in producing numbers in a program like Logic, then we will focus on this. The first lesson will therefore mainly be an introduction, in which I show and discuss different techniques with the student, after which I will compile the lesson program based on the ambition and interest. Everyone is welcome to try a lesson, young and old, whether you have experience or not.

Singing lessons for all levels and age. For beginners, together we can discover the range of your voice and build the breathing and singing technique. At the same time we will work on music theory, ear training and how to read a score. For mature singers, we can delve into the singing technique and interpretation and add pieces in your repertoire. The lessons are provided both online and in person and can be held in English or Greek. I also speak some Italian and German. About me I have been playing the piano for 15 years. I have studied Classical Singing in the Municipal Conservatory of Kalamata (Greece) and I have followed a two-year Early Music Programme in Athens Conservatoire. At the same time I studied Music Theory (Harmony) at the Greek National Conservatoire from which I gained my Harmony degree. In addition, I have a Bachelor in Early Childhood Education at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Here in The Netherlands, I finished my masters at the Utrechts Conservatorium and worked as a singer at the NKK NXT 2022-2023. I have participated in Operas (“Julius Cesar”- 2015 in Athens Concert Hall and “Alcina”-2019 in Odeon of Herodes Atticus) as a member of a vocal ensemble and I have also performed as a soloist in many concerts. Some of the stages I have performed are: Concertgebouw Amsterdam, TivoliVredenburg, Schouwburg Concertzaal Tilburg, Athens Concert Hall, Greek National Opera and the Odeon of Herodes Atticus.
