Hello ! I am a master's student in computer science at EPFL with a passion for teaching, I offer tutoring in mathematics, physics and computer programming. If you are in high school or starting studies in a university / EPF, I am ready to take time to support you and together, we achieve your goals! With my experience as a tutor for high school students, I have developed a personalized teaching approach adapted to the needs of each student. Whether it is to understand the basics, delve deeper into complex concepts or prepare for an exam, I strive to make learning interactive and effective by offering visual and intuitive methods to solve comprehension problems. As a 3rd year physics student at ETH, I offer private lessons in mathematics as well as academic support for middle school, high school/gymnasium and first year university students. I mainly base myself on the progressive resolution of exercises, to understand where the difficulties come from and to be able to overcome them. I listen and adapt to the student in order to understand their perspective. I can thus approach problems in the way that suits him best, which allows me to create solid foundations and establish an excellent understanding of the subject. A progressive approach to exercises and regular practice builds self-confidence and allows for great improvement over the long term! I have already taught students from: - Swiss Gymnasium -French high school and college - European School - EPFL - Paris Polytechnic School I therefore know the habits of these schools and can easily adapt to the program of the students I accompany. During lessons via ZOOM, I use a tablet that allows me to write directly on the student's screen.

I offer both reinforcement and in-depth courses, adapted to the students' pace and the teachers' requirements. With 10 years of experience in individual monitoring and 5 years in front of diverse classes, I do not offer so much academic support as lively and interactive courses, whose key words are kindness and encouragement. Familiar with the Swiss and French programs as well as the IB, I know the frequent and less frequent sticking points that students encounter, as well as the classic exercises that must be redone absolutely and those that go further. My method: Understanding and assimilating the course are at the heart of everything, and that is why I particularly insist on this point which often requires filling in gaps from previous years. Concrete illustrations and targeted training then facilitate these famous understanding triggers which allow the student to finally release their full potential. We always proceed in stages: course - classic exercises - more advanced exercises, with obviously homework from one time to the next to anchor the knowledge and develop the autonomy necessary to solve complex problems. Master's student in physics having obtained the baccalaureate with very good honors (19.8/20 general average) I happily help in learning mathematics and sciences in general which made me want to study at the EPFL and to come to KTH afterwards. I offer to give help lessons in mathematics or physics for all levels (up to the start of secondary studies) occasionally or regularly. I have previously given lessons to children. Having several young nephews and nieces and having regularly carried out baby sittings, I am used to supervising children. I can also help with English classes (after having lived for several months in Cambridge, England), French, philosophy or provide comprehensive school support for homework help for children. Second year physics student at EPFL Lausanne. The courses are aimed in particular at university students, but also at secondary school students. For those attending EPFL, I can give classes in person. Otherwise, I am also available for online courses. The topics and course delivery are agreed with the students according to their specific needs. They can include both theoretical explanations and the carrying out of practical exercises. From my own experience, I have found that everyone can understand the most complex concepts, you just need to adopt the right approach and teaching method, which varies from person to person. As it is not always possible to make this important distinction in general courses, my intention is to provide those who need it with help in catching up with the program by filling in gaps and/or doubts. Master student at EPFL, I would be happy to help you (you or your child) for the subjects where you have difficulties! At university, I have been an assistant in Chemistry for the first years of EPFL for a few years as well as for a course linking mathematics and electronics, called Signals and Systems. So I am used to teaching and explaining concepts to students with difficulties. I also give private lessons to students passing the Swiss maturity or the French baccalaureate. To try to see together the difficulties as well as the misunderstandings: we go back to the lesson together, we do an exercise together and then I let the student do it independently and we review together if he is blocked or if we need to correct. I love teaching and have always enthusiastically helped my classmates. I have been giving private lessons since 2016 (around 25 students, including one for Analysis I, EPFL).
