Trained organ and piano teacher offers individually tailored lessons for the above instruments for beginners and advanced learners. The focus for me is the joy of making music, which I would like to pass on to my students.

Currently I am doing my second master at the MDW University in Vienna. I have a lot of experience in playing different styles of music as well as 7 years of teaching experience. We will focus on learning how to play the piano while simultaneously theory and harmony principles will be introduced along the way. I am a singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist whose music has been featured in publications such as The Huffington Post, BBC and WRAL. I have written and co-written songs that have accumulated tens of millions of streams. I am represented by Kobalt/AWAL (Lauv, Bruno Major, Tom Misch), Maximal Music Sync (Candi Staton, North Star Media), Music Table South Korea, and Sixtyfour Music London and have co-written with Richard Walters (Declan J Donovan, 3lau, Alison Moyet, Grey's Anatomy, CSI) and breakout Dutch artist Judy Blank. Alongside releasing my own material, I am also a session pianist, writer and guitar player who has worked for many clients in studios both in Europe and the States, as well as on tours worldwide including major festival slots and tours in the UK, Europe and the States. ---------- I primarily am interested in teaching people to develop their own sense of artistic identity, and am keen to mentor pupils who are already making headway in their own progress as a musician or in the music industry. Hey! My name is Richard and I give private lessons to all levels. For guitar, it is important that you can improve yourself in a pleasant environment in a fun way where your interests are central. Do you want to delve deeper into a certain style? Do you want to create your own sound on your guitar using amps, and pedals, ...? I can help you with all that! Knowledge of solfège or music theory is not required, we can always discuss this in class if you wish, but that is certainly not mandatory ;) I have been playing the guitar since I was 9 years old and for several years now I have been playing in professional bands with which I have been able to play on sugar rock, for example. Both programs can be combined depending on the focus and the profile of the student, or in case the student would like to go deeper in one of the previously mentioned subjects there is the opportunity to take an independent course of specialization on the desired topic. At the end of the semester every student will perform at the winter and summer concerts held every year and will have the possibility of making a recording session with the material worked during the term. With this, the student will not only be able to see his progress and work, but also will give him a direct experience of performing and working on a live or studio recording session, which is a fundamental part of the developing process of every musician.
