I have taken a few years off to complete my PhD in History and I would not like to stop teaching and learning in the meantime. By reading it regularly, progress will be faster. It can also be used in addition to other documents (files printed by school teachers and/or books) and has many advantages: automatic updating, downloadable on tablets and smartphones, simultaneous monitoring of what is writing. For help with writing: The objective is above all to acquire effective tools. The student will thus be able to learn to structure his ideas, argue coherently (and convincingly) and enrich his vocabulary. It is essential for me to have written work from the student between each lesson. History and Political Science are intertwined subjects with multidisciplinary approaches. To study one of these, one must understand the other. I offer classes that teach either of the two subjects, as well as both (if required) with aspect to the other. How often have we wondered about historical events with respect to Politics? Do we know that the Romanovs were related to the British Royal Family and how their brutal killings was shaped by geopolitics of the era, or how Hitler's death was a highly controversial political debate? You see how history and politics cannot be separated. It is also undeniable that having knowledge of the two subjects can help you achieve higher marks and credits, as well as a deeper understanding and passion for the subjects.

I am a native-speaking french teacher, who has achieved a high 6 in IB french A level, self-taught. This class will introduce you to some building blocks for writing effective poetry. This will focus on imaginative and descriptive aspects of poetry, as opposed to technical and academic aspects. It also works for creative writing in general. However, it will specifically focus on some of the more playful and concise elements of poetry, as opposed to the structure and narrative of prose, for example. There are a lot of barriers and negative preconceptions around poetry which I am to dismantle - building confidence and making poetry feel fun, as opposed to fearful! Enthusiasm is more important to me than academic ability. I also welcome pupils who speak English as an additional language and will try my best to accommodate as many access needs as possible. I offer careful proofreading, both in terms of content and form, of written work such as internship reports, senior work, end-of-study dissertations, dissertations, comments or reading sheets. I correct language errors: grammar, syntax, language register, spelling. I also suggest possibly bringing in other sources and rectifying the structure of the work if necessary.
