I have been teaching NT2 lessons for over 2 years, to both young adults and adults. You can come to me for all levels from A1 and for all skills you need to master. I tailor my lessons to what you want and need as a student.

Hello, my name is Rosa(48). I am born and raised in Amsterdam with roots all over the world. After high school, I studied law. I also studied photography for a year. I have gained many years of experience as a journalist, editor and children's entertainer. I have also been in the classroom of newcomers or as a supervisor at a private school. I have also been a childminder. That was great fun. I love the Dutch language and really enjoy teaching children but also adults. As far as my own children are concerned, I have read myself carefully. Because how exactly does it work with all those Cito keys? I use several methods which are specially conceived to teach Dutch to people who have a different mother tongue. I really like to use methods out of the ordinary like role games or methods with which you learn while playing. All these adapted to the student's situation of course. As I learned myself a couple of other languages, it is easy for me to detect difficulties a student can encounter and adapt the way of learning. I can teach in English, French, German and Russian.

In our class we will be relaxed, I will help you with the Dutch conversation, the grammar, reading (like an article or a topic what I will give you). I will help students for beginners-lower-intermediate level. After every lesson I will give you homework for the next lesson. A qualified language coach with 24 years of experience offers intensive Dutch lessons in a small class or online. I give many Dutch NT2 lessons to expats and in preparation for an integration exam. Specialized in guiding for the State Exam I and II. Special exam coach. In January 2025 I will also start with groups again. We have a great classroom in the center of Rotterdam, near metro station Beurs, lessons with small homogeneous groups (little difference in level). I also teach you about Dutch social culture, which is intertwined in the course and is strongly related to the language.

Teaching children is almost "an art" Not everyone is able to place him or herself in the mind of a child and that is just so important! I teach playfully and at the same time they learn without really realizing they are in a lesson! I do this with diverse lesson material such as pictures, video's, and we are also practicing songs together.
