Students are advised to practice, visualize similar examples and give feedback if they face any difficulty in understanding the subject. Topical lessons are supplemented by use of digitized learning tools such as databases and packages namely Stata, Minitab, and SPSS. There has been a growing tendency of the use of quantitative tools in social science and in humanities subjects, though in pure sciences there is a long history of quantitative orientation. Regardless of your preferences for qualitative research, doing quantitative research and the ability to evaluate quantitative works should not be a limitation/ inability, for persons who have their full career ahead. In last one decade or so, lots of literature has been published on data mining as well as on abuse of data mining, so I believe that choice of the valid tools for doing a meaningful work and their careful application, is the need of the hour for students and researchers. I initiated application of digitized tools in my lecturing and research, early, so can conveniently handle issues pertaining to choice of methodological tools as well as experimenting these relevant tools, using analysis analysis packages.

Benoit is friendly and patient and has a good sense of when to challenge and when to take a step back. My son, who is 8, really likes his lessons very much. He loves math, especially working with big numbers, and at school it isn't always possible to work on calculations as he would like. After few lessons he already learned new techniques for calculations he likes to experiment with and Benoit also managed to challenge him to try some new and more advanced things. I think this type of lessons is more tricky to prepare, at least until the teacher gets to know well the capacities and character of the child, as there are not based on the child's curriculum or homework to be done. Benoit is always open to discussion and if my son finds something too challenging, they take a step back and try another way or just agree to try another time when my son feels ready for it.

Carlos is an amazing teacher! I have learned more studying with him in a few months then I have learned in a year with other teachers. He is patient, knowledgeable and organized. We have good conversations and he really knows how to activate the language and give confidence to his students. For more basic students like myself it's very useful that he can speak other languages so well, although we use mostly Spanish in our lessons. He is simply the best! I highly recommend Carlos as a teacher!
