Focus of my project was modeling and understanding the glacial cycles using mathematical models. During my PhD, I have collaborated with researchers in Applied Mathematics from different research groups in Europe. I also hold a Bachelor and Master's degrees in Physics. I graduated full marks with honours in Physics from La Sapienza, University of Rome. Work & teaching experience: Since my university studies, I have been working or volunteering as a Math and Physics tutor, helping mostly high schools and college students. During my PhD at Copenhagen University, I was teaching assistant in 3 Full Master's Degree courses. I also worked as a high school math teacher. Other work experience include content creation (Physics explanations) and research. What I have learnt from my experience as a tutor: I believe it is only when you are able to explain difficult concepts in a clear and simple way, that you can consider yourself a good teacher! I did not have a good math teacher when I was in high school. I recall almost hating doing my Math homework! Luckily, after taking a few math classes with a really good tutor, I changed my mind completely. And here I am :-) Class description: depending on the student's background and preferences, I usually prepare some material (theory, exercises, examples, etc...) that the student can use to strengthen their skills. I am also available outside the class for homework and support.

I find the endeavour very rewarding and wish to try it as a part-time job. For example, I love seeing the eureka moments of the students :) I speak native Swedish and Arabic and can use that to tutor in lessons. In addition, I can tutor in them as subjects at a basic level if you so wish. For example, I can teach Swedish or English to an Arab or a Japanese person etc. Note: I do not have natively English-speaking parents. Superb experience with Raef. I asked for his help to prepare a math assessment test with an enormous lack of basis but he accepted the challenge. I found out a nice teacher who is not afraid of explaining and repeating if necessary. I did enjoy his method with the whiteboard, it feels like you are in the same place and can interact on the same exercise. Either in English or french he will certainly be able to help you.
