What do you want to learn?

I am very happy to work with students of all ages and levels who would like to learn the violin. Learning proper technique can be challenging and requires patience, and producing a beautiful, unique sound also takes time and dedication. I want my students to enjoy the learning process, and I would love to support you on your musical journey! I hold both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Music from Toho Gakuen School of Music in Tokyo, Japan, and the University of Music, Drama and Media Hannover. I am currently pursuing my Soloist Diploma while working as a teaching assistant to my professor, Daniel Gaede, former concertmaster of the Vienna Philharmonic, at the University of Music Nürnberg. I would love to share my knowledge and passion for the violin, helping students develop their technique, musicality, and love of performing.

The English language is not a matter of just about learning the language; it is more than just grasping the language. I make the lesson fun, enjoyable and put everything into action by practice and actual use of what we have learnt. I have structured this course majorly to help with conversations and every day use

You will have the opportunity to reinforce the material covered in class. Likewise, you will also be able to review for exams with exercises and homework that I personally will provide. Availability every afternoon and weekend. B2 in French and C1 in English. For language classes: conversation in English on current affairs and grammar improvement.

For adults, I offer online "Free Talk" classes. These classes are very popular and are ok for any age. I currently have a group class of people aged 60s to 80s. If you want to talk about daily life, news, hobbies, traveling, etc. and enjoy speaking English, then this is a good class to do it. Usually a 1-hour class is best as it gives plenty of time. If a shorter, or longer, class is better for you I can do that too. Just ask :)

I teach mainly Vinyasa, with an emphasis on breathing and meditation. Also yin. The most important thing is that I customize the sessions and intuitively tune into what is needed on the day. Yoga bio: Solveig is a yoga teacher, journalist and actress on a mission to heal generational trauma. She has studied psychology and biology at university level and has experience living in many different cultures. Her main yoga style is Vinyasa with an emphasis on breathing and meditation. She has also studied reiki in India. Solveig has practiced various forms of yoga on and off for the past 20 years and deepened her practice a couple of years ago as one way to cope with grief. She did her yoga teacher training with YogaWorks in Bali. Solveig encourages her students to bring their yoga practice from the mat into everyday life. Yoga is a lifestyle.

math classes are always thought of as a boring class i love to change that perspective and show how math can be a very interesting topic and when you find love for this subject you start to see how easy it becomes that is why i love teaching it and showing that point of view.

My main focus is free conversation and emotional confidence. I love creating a relaxed, safe, and playful space where we can smile, laugh, and enjoy talking together naturally. Language learning, for me, starts with connection — feeling comfortable, welcomed, and free to express yourself without fear of making mistakes. Conversation is at the heart of my lessons. Grammar is only introduced when useful and in a simple, practical way. Most of the time, we talk about real life, emotions, travel, cultures, and whatever is alive for you in that moment. Lessons are co-created and spontaneous, with no rigid structure or traditional classroom feeling. I believe learning is always mutual — I learn from you as much as you learn from me! Music and creativity are an important part of my life. I travel with a ukulele and use music and singing as gentle tools to support pronunciation, rhythm, and self-expression. I’m also deeply connected to art and handmade creation. I practice yoga, meditation, conscious breathing, free and intuitive movement, and dance. These practices help me bring presence, patience, and deep listening into our conversations. I also work with ceremonial cacao and facilitate cacao rituals and workshops, including online spaces. I’m passionate about conscious living, natural skincare and products that respect both our skin and the planet, and mindful nutrition. I mainly follow a vegan lifestyle, with flexibility inspired by travel and cultural experiences. Many students tell me they feel “at home” in my lessons, like talking with a friend.
