Hello! I’m AWA, an experienced and passionate educator dedicated to helping students reach their academic goals. With a solid background in science, finance, languages, and health education, I provide tailored, effective, and engaging lessons for a wide range of learners from primary school pupils to university level candidates. Subjects i teach : Mathematics, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, French, Finance and Financial Management, Computer Science, Physiology and Pathology (for nursing students). My Teaching Experience Includes: Preparing students for competitive entrance exams (medical school, engineering schools), teaching in state nursing schools as a part-time lecturer (physiology & pathology), Familiarity with the Belgian school system and its curriculum (from primary to secondary level). In addition to my work with older students and exam candidates, I love teaching young learners at the primary school level. I focus on building strong foundations in subjects like Math, Science, and French, using a warm and structured approach that helps boost their confidence and curiosity.

Private tutoring should be engaging, interactive, and most importantly fun. Although I can’t promise my teaching material will be fun, I will make sure the learning environment is friendly, stress-free, and interesting. I will be teaching with the Chinese National Putonghua Shuiping Ceshi system, which offers the most prestigious and accurate Mandarin learning opportunities across Asia. In these lessons, you will learn pronunciation, vocabulary, sentence formation, listening, storytelling, and eventually reading skills. By reading stories and entry level literature pieces, general comprehension ability can be boosted. We will start from Pinyin (romanised spelling of Chinese words), and finish at reading passages.

En quelques années d'enseignement/recherche en sciences exactes, j'ai pu suivre plus d'une cinquantaine d'élèves de différents niveaux, du cours particulier niveau collège jusqu'aux cours niveau Hautes Ecoles (EPFL et autres) en Mathématiques et Sciences Physiques. Cette variété de profils m'a aidé a affiner ma méthode d'enseignement selon chaque besoin. La première étape après la prise de contact pédagogique avec l'élève est la prise de connaissance de ses compétences actuelles ainsi que celles de ses ressources de cours afin de bien situer son contexte scolaire et mieux identifier ses objectifs. Pendant le cours, je fais en sorte de faire participer un maximum l'élève en étudiant ensemble des exercices. En effet il ne s'agit pas ici de faire un cours magistral et je trouve que la compréhension du cours est bien plus efficace en passant directement par des exercices et des méthodes d'application. Lorsque j'identifie une lacune sur le cours, nous passons alors un peu plus de temps sur des rappels théoriques. Mais ces points de rappels théoriques sont toujours illustrés grâce à des outils visuels modernes. A la fin du cours, nous faisons un bilan rapide des points de lacunes qui persistent, auquel cas nous ajustons les objectifs pour le prochain cours avec des suggestions d'exercices à travailler en autonomie. Nous faisons également un point sur les éléments de réussite afin que l'élève se rende compte de sa progression.

J ‘aide l’enfant à réaliser ses devoirs en temps et en heure mais je reste la pour lui expliquer toute les notions que l’enfant ne comprend pas. Je peux donc aider l’élève si il a un problème en mathématiques, en français, en sciences, en histoire, en géographie et en tout autre option que l’élève aurait pris. Je peux également l’aider dans la méthode de travail, dans la mémorisation ainsi que dans l’organisation avec des petites activités et astuces.
