As a rule of thumb, I like to start out with easy-paced classes for which no previous linguistic knowledge is necessary, so you can feel at ease while warming up to Hungarian. But since I am familiar with various layers of the language, we can also take a step forward and dive into more spicy topics such as etymology, descriptive grammar, poetry (you name it) if you are interested. In any case, you can expect a structured approach with clear and doable aims, lots of first-hand cultural notes and personalised home assignments that help your progress. Trusted teacher: I'm a highly qualified and experienced translator and a language teacher for German and Hungarian. Being a translator and a polyglot enables me to see languages and their grammar systems from a different angle than 'regular' Hungarian native speakers or school teachers. Based on my training and my regional expertise I also provide a variety of language support services for Hungarian. I have taught both in the private sector and in numerous language schools, adults and children of different ages. I can offer Hungarian to university level, for this is my mother-tongue, and German to B2 level since I live and work in Vienna for more than 20 years now. I came here to study and made my Bachelor's degree in Transcultural Communication and a Master's degree in Translation and Terminology Sciences at the University of Vienna then settled down with a good man and built a family.
