My experience runs mostly in early and classical music with an active performing life, nevertheless I also have the experience and knowledge of popular musical styles such as Latin-American folk, jazz and musicals. As a docent or vocal coach I've collaborate with different academic institutions and private artistic projects, focusing mostly on international students or social integration programs. I have years of experience teaching children, teenagers and adults in both Latin-America and Europe, therefore understanding different appreciation levels and needs. My main goal is to help the student discover her or his voice while enjoying making music. **Class suggestions and indications** No experience is needed just bring your enthusiasm and favorite music. I have studied classical guitar for 5 years, electric guitar for another 5 years, and jazz guitar for a year and a half. I can teach you music theory concepts ranging from fundamentals like chords, intervals, scales, and arpeggios to the more advanced: circle of fifths, modes, tensions, and triads. Regarding the technical aspect of guitar playing, I can create a good practice routine for the improvement of different styles of playing such as alternate picking, fingerpicking, legato, taping, hybrid picking, economy picking, etc. Although these concepts may sound frightening at first, I can help you understand them more easily. Violin and Viola lessons 🎻 with a professional teacher for all ages and levels (Amsterdam)

I studied the violin for about 2 months with Fermin and I have grown much in my knowledge of not just how to play but how to think when playing. Fermin has also helped a lot with technical struggles allowing me to break through some of the challenges that were bothering me for a long time. He is a very patient teacher but he will not hesitate to stop you and correct you (as any good teacher would) if you are not playing correctly. I personally requested that he gives me honest feedback which really helped me play better tecnically and musically. I believe he will be open to adapting his strictness upon specific requests. The time difference (Fermin being in Spain and I being in the US) has not been easy but Fermin was very willing to bend his schedule and provided several time slots to accommodate my availability. To sum up, if you are looking for a teacher that is patient in character yet unrelenting toward the goal of fully tapping your potential both musically and tecnically, I would recommend you take a lesson with Fermin.

This guy is the real deal. I just completed my fifth lesson and I already know how to play most of the Judas Priest's Breaking the law. Giuseppe pays a lot of attention on your technique and tries to make sure that you don't pick up any bad habits that you would later have to unlearn. Each lesson has included exercises that improve your technique and practicing songs as well. He tells you what to practice for the next time. He is patient and explains things very clearly. Highly recommended.
