Trusted teacher: Hello! I offer private classical piano lessons for all ages. I have experience for more than 4 years with students who are beginners and advanced piano players. I was a teacher for the Young Talent Class at Conservatorium Maastricht 2021-2022. I graduated from Conservatorium Maastricht in 2022, where I had the opportunity to study with Maestro Igor Roma, and Maestro Jeroen Riemsdijk. Throughout my studies I also gained a comprehensive knowledge of music theory, harmony, counterpoint, ear-training, musical forms and music history. I have extensive competition and performance experience with a varied repertoire, from Baroque to Neo-Classical period. I can help you prepare for an upcoming competition, recital or entrance exam. My teaching methods are adaptive to the student's specific needs, so that we can work on improving them. We will work on improving sight-reading, memorisation and basic improvisation. I work with my students to develop their sense of musical phrasing, engage my students in discussions about the music we are playing and more importantly the composer's intent. For specific piano techniques we can work on finger strength, arm-weight, precise control in dynamics and articulation, clarity in fast playing, releasing tension from the body. In addition to my Bachelors Degree, I have a minor in Pedagogical methods and skills, and have obtained a Teaching Certificate from Conservatorium Maastricht. Currently I am available in a studio in Luxembourg City, and at the student's location, in and around Luxembourg City.

Trusted teacher: I want to offer you two types of piano lessons for this summer: 1) an intensive summer course for beginners (all ages): You or your child want to start learning piano, but you're not ready for the commitment yet? In this 2-month, weekly (or bi-weekly) introduction to piano, I will teach you the basics and give you a taste of what awaits you! 2) piano tutoring and/or exam preparation (all levels): Want to continue working on your skill during summer but the Conservatory of Music is closed? Need to prepare for a piano exam and want extra help? I will give you the necessary support and guide you along the way. After 17 years of experience in playing the piano, accompanying other instruments (such as the cello, the violin and singing) at concerts and assisting to numerous masterclasses, I have decided to start teaching the skill I've worked on so hard. On the request of both my siblings, whom I have successfully taught for a while now, I feel confident that I can introduce you and/or support you in your discovery of the amazing world of music. Having completed a 1st price diploma in both piano and accompanied piano, I'm a very communicative and open-minded person, and I'm looking forward to share my passion with you. I am picking piano up again after about 40 years and she really helped with simplifying many things that have always been a little challenging for me eg scales :) We discussed my objectives and direction and have made a plan for moving forwards.
