I have been dancing myself since I was five years old and am now in my 30s. I have had experience teaching group and private lessons for many years now. And I was privileged to be able to teach some social dance courses at Brigham Young University while I was a student there earning my bachelor's. I am currently living in London and attending Goldsmiths University with the goal of getting a master's in Dance Movement Psychotherapy. I grew up training in RAD ballet, ADAPT jazz and tap. After completing my RAD Advanced 2 ballet and my ADAPT Advanced jazz and tap exams, I began to teach. I have now been teaching a variety of ages and levels for eight years. I will be completing my third and final year of my ADAPT teaching certification this summer. I have completed the first year of both my RAD and Acrobatique teaching certifications I base my classes around the needs of the dancers I am working with. I teach with an emphasis on developing sound technique. I encourage my students to work hard, and focus on the areas in which the are developing. I like to challenge each dancer and create an interesting and engaging class.
