I am a first year master's student at EPFL, in biology. I offer support courses in mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology. The course offers a possibility of help for students having difficulties in the courses offered. The student will find a framework where they can ask these questions, discuss methodologies and improve. Putting my knowledge at the service of other people is something I like to share. As a computer science student at EPFL, mathematics has been an integral part of my academic journey for a long time. With this experience, I have already had the opportunity to give support courses at different levels, which has allowed me to develop a pedagogical spirit and focused on excellence. My goal is to instill in pupils and students the pleasure of mathematics while helping them to progress in this subject.

Master's student in physics having obtained the baccalaureate with very good honors (19.8/20 general average) I happily help in learning mathematics and sciences in general which made me want to study at the EPFL and to come to KTH afterwards. I offer to give help lessons in mathematics or physics for all levels (up to the start of secondary studies) occasionally or regularly. I have previously given lessons to children. Having several young nephews and nieces and having regularly carried out baby sittings, I am used to supervising children. I can also help with English classes (after having lived for several months in Cambridge, England), French, philosophy or provide comprehensive school support for homework help for children. I can receive at home, in a room reserved for the KTH library or give lessons by webcam. I can also move if the address is reachable by metro or bicycle. I finished my PhD in Physics at EPFL and now I work as a software engineer. I also teach Physics (General Physics, Electromagnetism, etc...) to university students. I offer personalized support for each student, while considering their objectives. I help students in difficulty to pass their exams, but also those who want to reach a level of excellence. The courses will be adapted to each student and each course. I prioritize comprehension to the detriment of memorization and I help students develop their autonomy in problem solving. Hello ! My name is Julia, I am French-Italian and I am a master's student in Engineering at EPFL. Do you have difficulty learning French, Italian or English? I love teaching and have always enthusiastically helped my classmates. I have been giving private lessons since 2016 (around 25 students, including 4 for a General Physics course in propaedeutics). I am also an assistant for two courses at EPFL (3rd year Bachelor and Master levels), and I co-created and taught the EPFL Advanced Analysis course (for mathematicians and physicists) during the week welcoming new students. I then strive to transmit my knowledge and my passion for the subject to my students, at a pace adapted to their needs. I think that students who take private lessons have a sincere desire to overcome their difficulties, and that we must therefore pay particular attention to encouraging them. Master student at EPFL, I would be happy to help you (you or your child) for the subjects where you have difficulties! At university, I have been an assistant in Chemistry for the first years of EPFL for a few years as well as for a course linking mathematics and electronics, called Signals and Systems. So I am used to teaching and explaining concepts to students with difficulties. I also give private lessons to students passing the Swiss maturity or the French baccalaureate. To try to see together the difficulties as well as the misunderstandings: we go back to the lesson together, we do an exercise together and then I let the student do it independently and we review together if he is blocked or if we need to correct. Hello I am from Morocco and I am a big science enthusiast. I am currently a student at EPFL and I make available my knowledge in Mathematics and Physics for tutoring and tutoring courses at all levels from primary to secondary. Student at the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), I am currently in BA5 - third year of Bachelor - at the IC (computer science) faculty. I have been providing private lessons since 2018 in mathematics, physics, chemistry and life sciences. Holder of a Bachelor in Biomedical Sciences since the summer of 2021, I completed 3 months of internship in a hospital environment in the psychiatric sector and fundamental research in neuroscience. I was also passed (admitted to the competition but the quota places granted limited my entry into medical school) after having completed a national competition which was both selective and elitist to enter a medical school: the first common year to health studies. Very difficult in maths, physics, organic chemistry and biology. I was subsequently very involved in collaborative and associative projects to train students for the medical competition, in the first year. I love teaching, making people understand and seeing this moment of light on the face of the student for whom everything becomes clearer! Second year master's student in Energy Science at EPFL, and holder of a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering at the same school, I offer mathematics and physics courses to students from EPFL, UNIL, gymnasium or college. During my studies, I built a solid scientific foundation, but also accumulated a lot of experience as a private teacher. In fact, for 4 years already, I have been teaching: - to first year bachelor's and master's students at EPFL in the mechanical, microtechnology, computer science and biological fields - to UNIL students in the biology, economics and maths sectors - to students in the gymnasium. - to middle school students These experiences allowed me to develop a better approach during my courses. I first try to understand what the student has understood, and what is not well understood. To do this, I suggest doing several exercises together. Then, I re-explain in a simpler way the part in which the student is having difficulty. Finally, I let the student do a new exercise on his own to see if the concept has been acquired. I am very happy to be able to help students in difficulty to progress, because for me the sharing of knowledge is very important. In particular, I was able to help students with weaknesses in mathematics and physics to pass their end-of-year exams.
