I am an international concert artist, pupil of Maxim Vengerov, Master of Arts, graduate at the Royal Academy of Music in London, graduate from the International Menuhin Music Academy in Switzerland. I have over 5 years of pedagogical experience with qualifications confirmed by a Teaching Diploma and references. Pianist student at the HEM in Geneva offers piano lessons as well as music theory! Basic elementary and intermediate level I also propose a part to speak about the musical appreciation of all the periods of the history of the music. For all ages! These will be lessons to work on the piano (beginners and intermediate) while we talk about music theory (harmony, music theory, analysis, etc.) and also a time to listen to recordings and talk about musical appreciation. Besides classical education, I also work with jazz pieces and pop music. It's an hour to have fun, learn and discover. I have over five years of experience teaching piano and music theory, with children, youth and adults. The Piano can from childhood bring a lot of benefit to the child. Music trains the memory, the taste for effort but also the artistic sense, the musicality and all this in a playful way. The objective would be to teach the child (or anyone wishing to start the piano) the basics of the piano, passing of course by some notions of music theory, and accompanying the student in learning his first melodies. All this in pleasure, and sharing. I have been playing the piano since I was 7 years old, and reached the upper secondary level at the AVCEM exam when I was 15 years old. I also teach Grade 5 theory for International students ABRSM and have a 100% pass rate. I also do crash courses to cover Grade 1 to 5 in 3-4 months depending when the exam date is fixed. Knowledge of solfège or music theory is not required, we can always discuss this in class if you wish, but that is certainly not mandatory ;) I have been playing the guitar since I was 9 years old and for several years now I have been playing in professional bands with which I have been able to play on sugar rock, for example.
