Looking for an enthusiastic and patient music tutor? I am a violin, singing, piano and music theory tutor, who is classically trained musician with a Music degree. I can also teach Music GCSE and A-level and composition. I am especially passionate about song-writing, if that is something you or your child is looking for tutoring in.

With over fifteen years experience, I specialise in teaching flute, piano and theory to students of all ages and levels. I enjoy getting to know each student personally and honing in on what makes them excited about learning music. I am also a freelance flutist, playing regularly with orchestras, and chamber ensembles in London, Europe and Australia. I have vast experience teaching in schools and universities, regularly preparing students for performances, Trinity College of Music examinations and music college auditions. I hold my BMusPerf Hons degree with First Class Honours in Flute Performance and my AMusA, LMusA and LTCL diplomas. I am happy to travel to students for a small fee.

Knowledge of solfège or music theory is not required, we can always discuss this in class if you wish, but that is certainly not mandatory ;) I have been playing the guitar since I was 9 years old and for several years now I have been playing in professional bands with which I have been able to play on sugar rock, for example. My methodology is to base myself on the courses in a structural and clear way, accessible to my learners to give them quality teaching and a total understanding of the courses in a cordial and satisfying atmosphere. My method is very simple, I start by teaching you the most common and most used words and expressions. Then slowly the formation of sentences, conjugation, grammar but also how to pronounce each word well and know their positions in the sentence. Wolof is the most spoken language in Senegal, Gambia where it has been enriched with contributions from other dialects, Arabic and French, which remains the official language.
