Hello there! Welcome to my profile. I am Rui and I teach piano. The piano is known as the most complete musical instrument of all. This is because when playing it we can get all kinds of characters and sounds: very deep basses or super soft high notes; delicate melodies or dense harmonies (almost like an orchestra sometimes). This is one of the reasons why I love to play the piano, its versatility adapts to my everyday mood. I would love to show you the wonders we can create with this amazing instrument! Lessons Every student is different, and by saying this I mean that I prepare every lesson specifically for each student. Some might be more shy, others might need more time to acknowledge some questions. I believe that music (much like everything else) should be taught with patience and motivation. You shouldn’t feel like you’re going against time, it should be the opposite. As a teacher, I always give priority to your motivation and excitement regarding the lesson’s activity. If I see that a student is not enjoying the lesson I have to improvise and turn it around. When teaching, the most important thing for me is that you learn while having fun. I have already some years of experience in giving piano lessons to people of all ages. I adapt the lesson content for every student individually, and I always give them the freedom to follow their musical taste and instincts. I also give a lot of focus to creativity and improvisation. At the end of the lesson, I usually save a few minutes for the student to decide what he/she wants to do: maybe a little 4-hand improvisation, or maybe play a piece they have already learned and that they enjoy playing. About me Most of my studies and experience as a teacher took place in Portugal. I completed my Bachelor's Degree in Piano Performance in 2020. I moved to The Netherlands in 2020 to attend the Master Program in Classical Piano Performance in the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague. My academic studies were built on classical music but I also have some experience in pop and rock music. I hope this motivates you to study piano with me! About me: I am Nikos and I am a classical guitarist with 15 years of experience. I started playing classical guitar at the age of 10 and from the age of 14, with the supervision of my teacher, I have been helping and guiding younger guitar students, giving me a hands-on experience in teaching from an early age. In 2019, I obtained my soloist diploma from the Hellenic Conservatory of Music and Arts, giving me the right to teach and since then I have been teaching privately. Currently, I am studying with professor Pavel Steidl, at the Royal Conservatoire of the Hague and I have been attending a Music Pedagogy course, as well as courses in Early Music. Since 2014, I have been attending guitar festivals and academies, giving me the opportunity to learn from some of the most important classical guitarists of our era and also be awarded prizes in national and international competitions, such as the 1st prize in Palaio Faliro guitar festival in Athens in 2020 and the 3rd prize in the 1st International Nikita Koshkin competition in Russia in 2021. In 2024, I was honored to receive a scholarship given each year to two European guitarists, giving me the opportunity to attend the Volterra Project Summer Guitar Institute 2024 in Volterra, Italy. Music Theory: In 2020 and 2021, I graduated from the music theory departments of the Hellenic Conservatory with a degree in Music Harmony and a degree in Counterpoint.

Welcome to my piano teaching studio! I am a professional pianist offering private piano and theory lessons for students of all levels. As a pianist with over 14 years of teaching experience in Europe and the USA, as well as over 23 years of playing/performing, I enjoy motivating my students with music of their own preferred style and interest, whether that be classical or contemporary. My main goal is to promote a positive experience and love for music-making during the learning process. If the student is interested in a more structured approach, I guide preparation for grades 1-8 of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) piano and music theory exams where my students consistently receive highest marks. I also have successful experience preparing students for conservatory entrance auditions, masterclasses, and competitions in the Europe, the USA, India, and Canada. We have class concerts at Pianos Maene for interested students twice per year. I am happy to provide either a more relaxed or a serious approach to learning piano, we simply need to discuss the personal goals and preferences of each student. My own studies are as follows: I have obtained two postgraduate performance degrees at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp: "Concertsoloist" in Piano Performance and "Chamber Music” (under the guidance of esteemed professor Sergei Edelmann). Prior to this, I received my Bachelor and Masters degrees in Piano Performance/Music from the University of Minnesota - Minneapolis (with Prof. Lydia Artymiw) and Texas Christian University, Fort Worth (with Dr. Tamas Ungar). My experience includes collaboration with many different instrumentalists and singers, performing as a soloist and collaborative member in several orchestras, and receiving top prizes in several competitions. While maintaining my performance and recording career in Belgium at present, I am developing my private music studio in central Antwerp and look forward to meeting new students.

Hello, I'm Jungmi, a professional jazz pianist and composer. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Jazz Piano and a degree in Jazz Composition from the Maastricht Conservatory. As the leader of the Little Big Jazz Orchestra, which I founded in 2022, I explore rich emotional landscapes through expressive melodies, intricate harmonies, and unique orchestrations. My orchestra has received recognition, including a nomination for the Maastricht Jazz Awards, the Audience Award, and performances at festivals such as Jazz Out Fest and Make It Jazz Festival in Tilburg. We were also finalists for the Edmond Hustinx Prize and received an Honorable Mention at the Laren Jazz Festival 2024. Currently, we are preparing for our debut album release. In addition to performing, I offer lessons in jazz piano, composition, and music theory. It can be jazz, pop and gospel music. My teaching focuses on helping students develop a strong foundation while discovering their unique sound. Dear students, My name is Giacomo and I hold two Master of Arts in Music Performance, one in Rome and one from the "Zurcher Hochschule der Kunste" in Zurich. During my class lessons you'll learn the wonderful art of playing the violin, an incredible instrument! I have many years of experience with teaching, I do private lessons and I have worked as a teacher for "Tiziano Rossetti International Music Academy in Lugano" for several years. As a teacher my goal is to bring out the best version of my students, using their individual strenghts, which are different for each of them. It's a pleasure for me to teach to anybody who wants even just to discover the art of playing the violin. As a pedagogue, after one month experience in a meditation retreat in Thailand, my approach involves not only focusing on the technical development of the instrument but also paying close attention to the physical and mental well-being of my students. I incorporate meditation and yoga as key elements to ensure a pleasant and optimal experience with the instrument and with oneself.

Experienced teacher of Oud and oriental Arabic singing for over 11 years, I am Lebanese and currently residing in Germany. I studied for 8 years at the Lebanese National Conservatory. I taught at the Casa Beethoven Academy in Lebanon and gave private lessons. In addition, I was conductor of the Loubnan Assalam oriental orchestra for over 5 years. My recommendation for learning the Oud is to start with the study of notes and musical notation before tackling pieces. Although some students prefer to play songs directly, understanding the basics of musical notation allows for faster progress in the long run. With determination and hard work, significant progress can be made in a year, allowing one to play simple melodies. Please feel free to leave me a message, I will reply as soon as possible.

Hey! My name is Richard and I give private lessons to all levels. For guitar, it is important that you can improve yourself in a pleasant environment in a fun way where your interests are central. Do you want to delve deeper into a certain style? Do you want to create your own sound on your guitar using amps, and pedals, ...? I can help you with all that! Knowledge of solfège or music theory is not required, we can always discuss this in class if you wish, but that is certainly not mandatory ;) I have been playing the guitar since I was 9 years old and for several years now I have been playing in professional bands with which I have been able to play on sugar rock, for example. The lessons would take place at my home in Mol or via webcam. If necessary, we can always agree on something else.
