AGE GROUP: Children 7-11 years Adults elementary level AIM: 1. To learn, practice and pronounce the different furniture in a house. I will be teaching 10 words which includes: clock, chair, table, bed, lamp, fridge, stove, mirror, bath, toilet. they will learn the nouns and to pronounce the word correctly. I will sound out each word and ask them to repeat the word that I have just said. I will make use of flashcards and props to illustrate each noun. I will use different activities to see if they understand what each noun is.
AGE GROUP: Teenager and adults. AIM: After this lesson students will be able to name and explain the eight parts of speech and determine the parts of speech. this lesson will help students to understand the part of speech and to used it in the correct manner. ill keep the lesson as simple as possible so that students can understand it better. ill make use props and flashcards.
AGE GROUP: Teenagers and adults AIM: 1. After this lesson students will be able to differential between the four different types of sentences, students will be able to write the different types of sentences. 2. I will give the students an activity to test their knowledge to determine whether they understand each type of the sentence. I will make use of picture, flash cards, props and colours so that students doesn't get bored and to keep their attention through the lesson.
AGE: 14 and above AIM: 1. To develop and practice speaking skills. 2. Encourage peer feedback and corrections on writing and speaking. 3. To learn how to communicate in the correct manner. This lesson is for teenagers and adults who would like to learn and understand the different ways of greeting. I will teach them the different types of greeting which includes informal and formal greeting. Informal Greetings- are used when speaking to a friend, peer and family. Hello ,Hey, What's up ,see you Formal Greeting- are used in a business environment, when speaking to a elderly person, at an interview. Good Morning Sir/Mam, Shaking of hands before starting an interview. I will use flash cards, images of people greeting, short video to demonstrate how you use informal and formal greetings. I will do an activity to test their understanding.
AGE GROUP: 5 - 8 years. Level of class- Beginners In my lesson I will make use of the TPR method this is a great technique to use when teaching children new vocabulary in a fun and exciting way. The technique will ensure that children stay focused and not get distracted in class. I will start with a warmer, a song about the rainbow. I will be teaching the colours of the rainbow which includes red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple. will use flashcards and illustrations to show the different colours and also chorus each colour out by asking children to look at my mouth and repeat it three times.
