Eastern martial arts are known as the most holistic disciplines in which balance in body, mind and soul are inextricably linked.
Everything that puts us out of balance is what we call STRESS. And this can be physical, mental or emotional.
Using Eastern martial arts including kung fu, tai chi, Chinese wrestling, I teach or coach skills that can strengthen your resilience against stress.
These skills are:
BE WATER (adaptability) - BREATHING- POSTURE/ATTITUDE - ROOTING - FOCUS - RELAX/RELEASE - FIGHTING SPIRIT - BODY/MIND CONDITIONING - OPEN EMPTY SOUL - SELF-CONTROLL
What you do physically, you also do mentally.

If you are attacked physically and you fight back hard, there is a good chance that you will both sustain a lot of damage. As you try to adapt and avoid that attack, there's a better chance that a fight won't even happen.
Now, how often does it happen when people are being scolded and reproached, that they start scolding back loudly, causing a fierce argument with both of them in sorrow. While if you don't respond to the insult, the argument can be avoided."
"A second example: If you show yourself to be steadfast in your positions, so that it is difficult for you to be pushed out of balance, you will also become mentally steadfast, so that you will not easily allow yourself to be hurt emotionally."
To find balance, you must of course work on both yin and yang. Too soft is not good, too hard is not good either, but we need both to find that balance.
