I specialise in teaching Music Theory and Harmony, as well as reading scores. My goal is to create a strong base of knowledge which each student can use in critical thinking in the future. I assign homework and explain everything that needs to be repeated, in order to ensure that the students have absorbed all of the information. I follow ABRSM, AMEB, Berkeley and my own music theory programs. Either you are a totally new person to music, you have been playing guitar or you want to get more deep knowledge of Music Theory and Harmony - I will share with you my knowledge and will help you to get to your goal.

Hi everyone! My name is Ilona. I am a professional cellist and a cello teacher with a Master’s degree. My teaching experience is more than 11 years, with 3 years experience of online teaching. Online learning how to play cello is completely acceptable for all levels and ages from 8 years old. Either you are a Zero Beginner or you are preparing to pass entry exam to conservatory - I will explain you how to practice to become more effective on cello. My current students range in age from 8 to 51 years old and come from all over the world. I always work for results, so our lessons may be longer than an hour at times simply because we haven't completed the lesson plan (with no extra pay). Before you begin learning the cello with me, you should understand two important concepts: when you play the cello, you use your body (arms, fingers) to create sound, and you use your soul and emotions to create music. We'll start by learning how to make sounds, which you'll later use to express your emotions. Please do not hesitate to message me if you have any questions. I am currently only teaching online.
