Maths is an important life skill and a core subject in school that all students need to pass. As an experienced A-level maths Teacher, I’ve successfully helped students overcome learning gaps and achieve impressive results. At the secondary/sixth form where I work, I guided students who missed key Year 12 content through two years' worth of material in under a year, with many improving to B/C grades in their final exams. I create tailored lesson plans, maintain a positive classroom environment, and offer personalized support, as shown when I worked closely with a struggling student, parents, and colleagues to boost their confidence and performance. I also track student progress using detailed records and Excel, allowing me to spot early signs of struggle and intervene effectively. My experience includes roles as an A-level tutor at a secondary school In East London and an Academic mentor, for secondary school students, at another school in East London, where I helped students significantly improve their grades. Currently, as a tutor at a tuition centre in East London, I work with Year 7 to Year 13 students, preparing them for GCSEs with personalized, focused lessons. My teaching methods are adaptable to individual needs, reinforcing past material and building confidence with every session. I also tutor privately, both online and in-person, focusing on improving weak areas and exam preparation. My goal is to help each student unlock their potential, whether they need help catching up or are aiming to excel.
