I am an advanced musician, having achieved my Licentiate diploma in piano (with AMEB in Australia), my Associate diploma in flute (with AMEB in Australia), and my ACTL in music theory (with Trinity College). I taught piano throughout high school, University and on the side of my full-time career as a lawyer. I can teach beginners of all ages and students who are working towards Grade 6 or 7 standard of Trinity College or the equivalent. I am also happy to teach students who would like to learn for fun or for performances, rather than for exams. I make lessons fun, engaging, and motivational. I am extremely passionate about teaching. I am passionate about mathematics. I have been a mathematics tutor throughout my University studies, and work as a part-time tutor on the side of my current job (I am a commercial lawyer). I studied high level mathematics at school. I was accelerated two years, and graduated on the top of my class. I have also recently completed a Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Studies at the University of Melbourne with First Class Honours. As part of that degree, I completed of highly advanced mathematic subjects (including calculus, linear algebra, probability and statistics). I can tutor kids from a very young age to students in their final year of school, and will ensure I do so in a way that is specifically tailored to each student. I make lessons fun, engaging, and motivational. I have had a lot of success in the past, through improving grades and/or increasing a child's passion for learning.
