Trusted teacher: *English below Experienced music teacher offers recorder lessons and music training for children and adults of all ages and levels! Originally from Brazil, I have been teaching music for several years. Graduated from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, I have experience as a music teacher giving private lessons and at Music Academies in Belgium and elsewhere. I develop a unique method for each learner in a way that he or she can learn in a solid and fun way. Because it is an easy instrument to produce sound, the recorder is a good opportunity for children to get started in the world of music. This is already a first contact with musical notation and the development of the ear. I offer the student a fun and dynamic practice where we play music from the first lesson. For adults... If you are a beginner, don't worry! I teach you how to make the first sounds on your new instrument, how to blow correctly, how to maintain good posture... and create, step by step, a solid basic technique that will help you play any piece on the flute . If you are an advanced student, or who already have the fundamental knowledge of your instrument, I offer you an improvement in technique adapted to each repertoire. We will exploit creativity and sound, in order to produce an increasingly beautiful and eloquent musical discourse. Lessons can take place at the student's or the teacher's home in Schaerbeek. Travel costs are negotiable depending on distance. Do not hesitate to contact me to discover this beautiful instrument! Trusted teacher: In French : For almost ten years, my method has strived to move away from those found at the Academy, sometimes considered austere and outdated. In my opinion, the student is the main actor in his learning, and the teacher should be his caring guide. In my opinion, his role is to provide him with appropriate help and support, and not to impose pre-established rules that do not take into account his unique needs. The image of the harsh and cold teacher should therefore be forgotten with me. My philosophy is always to encourage without imposing. The student will also have the opportunity to have access to a much broader repertoire than that imposed in classical education. Thus, he will be able to play his favorite music from all walks of life, whether it be themes from songs, plays, films, series or even video games. Of course, I also encourage classical music, as long as the student finds pleasure in it, which remains and will remain the most important for me. After all, what is music if not the purest and universal essence of our humanity, which brings together and unites our hearts and minds? In English: Over a decade of teaching, I have developed a method of teaching piano that differs from the ones found in the academic environment. For me, the student should be at the center of his learning journey. The teacher should be a guide who provides the student with tailor-made help and support, without forcing preexisting rules that don't reflect the unique needs of each student. No cold, strict or ill-tempered teaching on my watch! My philosophy goes by the following: always encourage, never impose. The student also has the opportunity to explore a much larger repertoire than the one imposed in classical education. He/She has the freedom to play any music from all backgrounds, including songs, shows, movies, series or even video games. Of course I also encourage classical music, as long as the student enjoys it, which will always be the most important part for me. After all, what is music, if not the purest and most universal essence of our humanity, the one that connects our hearts and souls?

Trusted teacher: Hello everyone ! I am 39 years old, I am a professional guitarist and graduate composer. My rich and varied musical journey, going from "Art Rock" to Classic, passing by French song and currently jazz allowed me to acquire a beautiful experience that I like to share with my students. Obviously passionate about my favorite instrument, I am just as passionate about music theory. From baroque counterpoint to jazz harmony, from classical orchestration to digital music publishing, I have always thought that understanding the sound universe multiplies perspectives, opens up new horizons! My method is simple and has always proven to be effective: working in symbiosis with pure instrumental technique and the general understanding of music, its cogs which seem to the novice musician so mysterious. In addition to basic instrument learning, I also teach: 🎸️ Experimental instrumental techniques 🎸️ Work of virtuosity 🎸️ Picking game 🎤️ How to go well with singing 🎵️ Arrangement 🎵️ Composition 🎵️ Harmony (classical or jazz) 🎵️ Improvisation 💻️ MAO (Computer Aided Music) Exploring musical styles: #Pop #EXP #Classique #Electro #Jazz #Jazz Manouche #Art & Hard Rock #Chanson Française #Blues #Funk (60's / 70's) 🎥️ Possibility of lessons by webcam ️🇬🇧️ I also speak English 🏡️ I give lessons mainly at my home: Châtelain district in Ixelles, many transport nearby: 🚊️ bus (54), tram (92, 94, 81.) and metro (Louise). 🐸️ GREAT BEGINNERS welcome! (no prior knowledge necessary) See you soon !

I'm a professional theorbo and guitar player and i give theorbo, guitar, music theory and solfege lessons (Brussels)
Giorgos
Giorgos has continually shown in every class I've taken with him to have a very good rapport with students and great teaching competence, showing the ability to explain topics, questions and mistakes in a way that the student understands and learns from. He's supportive of the level of knowledge, goals and the different musical tastes of students, allowing the diversification of the topics and repertoire studied in class, thus creating an excellent learning environment. In short simply 10/10. Excellent professor! Definitely recommend him to those who want to learn or/and better their skills at the instrument.

Violin and Piano lessons for all ages and levels.- (Saint-Gilles)
Elvis
Elvis is enthusiastic and knows his stuff. We asked him to do three lessons back-to-back at our house (for 2 kids and an experience adult player) and he did a great job for all of the different levels of experience of the different pupils. We would recommend him for any level of student.

Learn the guitar with an active performer and formally trained musician. (Brussels)
Nikos
This was my first meeting with Nikos and I found him to be very understanding and open to my aspirations and ambitions regarding the acoustic guitar. I look forward to being his student for a decent interval to reach my next level in playing classical guitar music.
