Dear music lover, As an experienced and certified cellist / orchestra musician from Lisboa, Portugal, with several years of teaching, I accompany children, beginners, adults and advanced students into their musical dream and future. I am a professional trumpeter, I have participated in symphony orchestras, wind bands, big band, and small chamber and jazz ensembles. I have extensive experience teaching children, youth and adults. For me it is very important to make music from the first lesson, because there must be a balance between technical practice and its application in small melodies or musical pieces. For some people there is only one way to tackle the unmentionable but I believe there are many different approaches and one of them will click with you. Music theory needs to be more than a requirement, it needs to be the way to really appreciate the music you are playing.
