In addition to my performing work as a drummer and composer, I have been teaching drums to motivated students of different levels and ages for over 20 years. As a certified drum teacher (Amsterdam Conservatory), I have my own teaching practice in the Q-factory in Amsterdam East/Oostpoort: Drum Practice East. I gave lessons and workshops to students at the HKU, the Conservatory Amsterdam (pop and jazz departments), Conservatorium Utrecht, DSOP Amsterdam, Tiroler Landeskonservatorium Innsbruck and Musikhochschule Franz Liszt Weimar (D). As a orchestra musician since long time, I would like to offer help and training for orchestra auditions. I'm a 24 years old Portuguese violist currently living in Amsterdam. I have studied at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam with Nobuko Imai and Francien Schatborn for 6 years from 2014 till 2020. As a freelancer I work with numerous orchestras such as: Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra and Netherlands Chamber Orchestra, Radio Filharmonisch Orkest and Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra. I'm also an active chamber music player, amongst others as a member of the Rotterdam Chamber Music Society. In addition to my private teaching experience, I have also done a teaching internship at the Muziekschool in Amstelveen during my studies, which gave me a lot of experience working with all levels of playing. In my lessons I always go first for the student's aim, what suits him/her the best and always serving the music. And of course having fun and pleasure in music making!

Adrian (1997) is an Amsterdam-based guitarist from Caracas, Venezuela that is part of the up-coming generation of the Dutch Jazz scene. Winner of the Erasmus Jazz Prize 2019, Adrian has performed at top festivals such as North Sea Jazz Fest, North Sea Round Town and Grachtenfestival, and has also shared the stage with established and emerging musicians such as Benjamin Herman, Stefan Lievestro and Alessandro Fongaro. Adrian (1997) started classical guitar lessons at age 11 but quickly switched to electric guitar because of his passion for rock music. At age 14, he was admitted to the TJC Music School in his hometown, Caracas, where he studied jazz guitar, graduating with honours at age 17. While living in Venezuela, Adrian started playing professionally at 16 years old, being called a “young promise”. In 2017, Adrian moved to The Netherlands to study at Codarts University of the Arts, later transferring to Conservatorium van Amsterdam in 2019 to study with Jesse van Ruller, Reinier Baas, Martijn van Iterson, Maarten van der Grinten, and many more. My goal is to keep my students enthusiastic, challenged and inspired but in an easy-going way. Hi! Originally from Madeira (Portugal), I have been playing the violin for more than 20 years. After graduating from Bachelor and Masters, both at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, I have decided to pursue my education in the teaching field, currently enrolled on a second master's degree, this time in teaching. In addition to already having a vast curriculum as a soloist or orchestral musician, I consider myself highly passionate about teaching, not only violin but also music theory. I have been very lucky to have had great teachers, who, in addition to have taught me the violin and the love for music, they have also shaped the person I am today. He holds a Master’s degree in Jazz Guitar from the prestigious Conservatorium van Amsterdam and Temple University in Philadelphia. Throughout his career, Joan has had the privilege of performing and collaborating with world-renowned musicians such as Jeremy Pelt, Vincent Herring, Dick Oatts, Grant Stewart, Jorge Rossy, Bill McHenry, David Wong, Benjamin Herman, Michael Weiss, Jasper Blom, Rita Payés, and Virginia MacDonald. One of his co-led projects, The Dam Jawn, has released two critically acclaimed albums: “Master Street” (2023) and “Forward!” (2024), both featuring the legendary New York saxophonist Dick Oatts. The first album earned a nomination for the Edison Jazz Award. In 2024, Joan performed with The Dam Jawn at the North Sea Jazz Festival, joined by the renowned trumpeter Jeremy Pelt as a special guest. In January 2025, Joan released his debut album as a leader, “So Far, So Good” (2025), and is already preparing for his next project—a recording in New York City with a stellar lineup of world-class musicians: Grant Stewart on tenor sax, Michael Weiss on piano, David Wong on bass, and Aaron Kimmel on drums.
