I am here to provide piano lessons for classical music and pop music. Coming from Hong Kong and educated in the Academy of Performing Arts (HKAPA), I am a University student in the University of Luxembourg and I am very eager to share the joy of music making. This class is for any enthusiasts who might be interested in learning the piano starting from scratch, furthering their technique in piano, or even to learn just to improvise on the piano. I can also provide lessons on Musical Theory, whether for exams or personal interest. I hold a LTCL Diploma in Piano Recital with a Distinction. I also hold a certificate with merits in the ABRSM Grade 8 Theory Exam. My time is flexible. I am willing to travel medium distances as long as it is reasonable and within Luxembourg. Music is the basic essence of all emotions and expressions. By learning it, we can admire and understand its beauty and enormity. My objective is to share the knowledge in Carnatic music that I have gained over all these years with the same passion that I learned it with. My teaching techniques involve discussing theories, understanding ragam, talam, and its built, and appreciation of Carnatic, light and film music creations. I would teach and encourage my students to listen to the previously created music and discuss its intricacies. You can learn from the basics to the advanced level along with vocal exercises and breathing exercises required for the music practice. You can get trained to perform in open-stage concerts and competitions as well.

Many people are passionate about music, but have they ever studied it in their lives? With this course I offer music theory, transverse and recorder classes for all levels, from the youngest to the oldest. The course can be adapted to each student and their preferences when it comes to learning. From getting to know the history of music a little better, learning to read sheet music, learning more about harmony, analyzing compositions or learning a new instrument. These are some of the options but I am always open to students and their preferences.
