Spanish is the second most popular language in the world with 486 million speakers. Migration movements and international job offers have made Spanish one of the key requirements for achieving good communication with others. However, due to its linguistic characteristics, learning Spanish can be a bit of a difficult task. In this course I invite you to take a first approach to Spanish through specific communicative situations and personalized classes that I will adapt to your needs. As a teacher of Spanish and Latin American Literature with more than eight years of experience, I have developed the ability to understand the demands of my students and create teaching proposals that allow them to overcome their difficulties. Furthermore, as a student of other languages such as English, German and Italian, I have learned the importance of patience in second language learning situations and also how frustrating it can be at times. For this reason, I offer you a course in which I will accompany you to explore Spanish with a thorough and personalized follow-up of your learning path. Humor, didactics, grammar and literature are combined in this course so that you can acquire a new tool that is not only linguistic but also cultural and powerful for your mental health. The course aims to provide an insight into the most widely read texts of contemporary Latin American literature, improve the communication skills of those interested and broaden the cultural horizons of participants. A program of more or less canonical literature is proposed at first, followed by readings proposed by those interested: We will cover the works of Cortázar; Juan Rulfo; García Márquez; Borges; Cercas; Grandes; García Montero; Zambra; Dalton; Junot Díaz. The course is held in Spanish but presentations can be made in English or Italian. The schedule can be agreed. I hope you like it!
